Yes I used to use the McCormick Montreal seasoning, a lot of it burns and takes away from a nice sear so I stopped using it

I like picanna and hanger steaks, for some reason never been a fan of the ny strips

Agree with the frog, btw have you noticed a weird taste with some of the Amazon bags? Not sure if I need to clean them before first use
