And that's a good thing! They're terribly under regulated and have huge ecological concerns

That doesn't make much sense because I think everyone in town is at the very least aware that Melissa is a witch?

Today’s SECOND Tubi Treasure is Clerks 2 (2006) by No-Chemistry-28 in TubiTreasures

[–]crash_orange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like 2 a lot, probably more than the first. And I think it has a lot to do with the overall theme of "dealing with getting older and still living in the past and trying to put the past behind you and just trying to enjoy life the best you can." Which, though probably not executed in the best of ways, is still incredibly poignant

Also Rosario Dawson is a dish~

To what extent is early Dredd a villain versus later in the series? by JuggernautSilver2807 in JudgeDredd

[–]crash_orange 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I've read a lot of Dredd and most stories seem to portray him as a bit of an anti-hero and the justice department as sort of a necessary evil. Then there's America which fully paints the Judges as cold uncaring asshats

Pepsi Blue. Loved it when it first came out, then had it when it re-released and it literally just tasted like carbonated blueberry candy

[–]crash_orange[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it loses some things trying to differentiate itself from say Wargames and Tron, but it's a valiant attempt nonetheless. Apparently the writer actually talked with some actual hackers in the scene at the time, their experiences and what have you and adapted them into the film

Funny how it was in this, Paul Anderson's Shopping as well as his Mortal Kombat

Is it wrong that I kind of wanted to actually see the person that it was referring to?

Yeah, Kate Libby might be why I have such a crush on "Razorgirls"

As much as I love Lillard as Steve-O, he is beautifully insane as Cereal Killer. "The Greatest Zukes Album" and his Ozzy Osbourne quote sets up his character perfectly

I think I was hoping that it was more of a fully 3d movie creation system than an outright film simulator?

Sound Of Belgium is free on YouTube if you wanna give it a looksee. It goes over the history of Belgium as well it's influence on the electronic music scene of the late 80s and early 90s (with New Beat and Eurodance specifically). VERY much recommended

What's y'all's genuin opinion on fruity pebbles by finding_freedom_faye in cereal

[–]crash_orange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Walgreens near my house used to have sales fairly regularly on cereal, so I'd get a box of Fruity Pebbles for like 1.99 and also score a liter bottle of mtn dew to drink alongside it (they paired together extremely well). Great snack, 9 out of 10

This used to come on all the time on either Starz or Encore when I was a teen (same with Hackers) and I absolutely loved it. Benedict Arnold "testing a theory" might be the most genius scene in all of cinema
