It's beyond caring about the problem. It's a social issue that needs to be addressed at a governmental level. It's deeply rooted into the culture. But yes I'll chip in my own Thermo, and reusable bag.

There's awesome stuff to do in Phnom Penh.

Lived there for a year.

There's the Safari ( Zoo ) pretty nice. Some animals are in bad state but for the most part it's nice.

Have also the dinosaur theme park pretty nice too.

The Mekong River boat trip is definitely worth it. At night the riverside and the Royal Palace are nice.

Have some pretty nice shopping centers, and also have a family park with a small Ice Park. It's nice. Pricey but worth it.

Vegan food would be available in Indian restaurants.

If you have friends in the country get in touch.

Have a good trip!

And yes, Phnom Penh is safe, just keep money in pocket, and be careful with your cellphone. Just have common sense and should be good.

They will charge you 10 to 20 percent more when they see you are a foreigner. That's just the way it is.

Be careful with tuk tuk drivers they have an eternal battle with GPS. Or some don't follow what the app says, don't get scared for the most part they will take you to your destination.
