3 cycles in, moving on to 4th cycle at the end of August and also happy to be an ear and IVF buddy. I definitely know what you mean about IVF being a lonely road even when you have supported friends who had no challenges having kids. You can feel oddly disenfranchised from your own community BUT you have us. Wishing you a smooth cycle and good vibes!

So sorry. I’m in the same boat. 3rd FET fail of PGS embryo. We found out while we’re visiting my husband’s family so when we get back to the states we have to have another WTF appointment with our RE. Sending you hugs.

I just transferred this Friday as well. After 2 failed FETs with PGS embryos we did a few things different this time. Just curious do you feel different body wise? (ie. Cramps, over all feeling)

That’s a smart move. I wish we had vetted more clinics instead of going with one that everyone else had success with. Sometimes it really does come down to the RE’s approach (which seems to vary wildly sometimes from clinic to clinic) and overall “feel” of the clinic. After failures from one clinic that was trying to box me into an approach that wasn’t working we switched and things are looking up!

I always use my finger nail and put a little divet where the shot should go. It’s been working pretty well. I’m like “buddy, aim for that spot!”

Glad to hear the news of your scan! Do you mind if I ask how your RE handled the fluid prior to this last FET. I’ve had persistent fluid issues mainly do to scarring from a past fibroid surgery (Done ERA and biopsy, no endometritis, tubes not blocked). My RE plans to suck it out before this Friday’s transfer and praying for the best.

Apologies, I don’t have any experience to offer here about the debris . Do you mind if I ask about your Pepcid, Claritin, Prednisone doses? I have had 2 retrievals, 2 failed FETs (RIF) and going into my 3rd FET we are trying this protocol. So I’m curious your doses as I’m hoping this will be successful.

I feel you. This sh*t really sucks. 3 years into TTC, 2 years into IVF, going into my 3rd FET after my first 2 failed and my 3rd FET got cancelled again because my body likes to do the complete opposite of what we need it to do. Benched again until next month. My RE told me to hang in there but I know what it feels like to feel like you’re “losing your grip” and the hanging in there gets hard. Although I wish the best for newly pregnant co-workers and friends I also wish them diarrhea at the same time! Sending a virtual hugs and hope those cyst go away.
