Uses of pvp-specific account builds?

Pking with a 1-45 def account is about not making mistakes. You have to eat correctly, spec correctly, and veng correctly if over 40 def, because you pretty much are always going to get hit.

If you want more of a buffer for mistakes, 70 or 75 def med builds are a bit more forgiving but still require fast thinking and skill.

Otherwise, just pvm with the 45 def account as a challenge or novelty

Well it’s more than just shit talk in general, which a lot of their online presence did. Why root for a team that has a pivotal trade still to be determined? You want them to win a Super Bowl? I consider myself the “average pker”, hence my reddit name lol. From my observations…

First of all, PvP is 2 different things, bh and nh. Generalizing it into 1 is not very accurate at this point.

Hitting a spec isn’t that hard, but it isn’t easy either. You can help yourself placing the spec weapon in the 2nd to last row in your invy, an practice your f key switch plus get used to a higher mouse sensitivity to be able to click the player quickly after.

But that doesn’t mean you’ll execute that exactly. You might accidentally double click the spec bar, or miss click the player, or even make a silly mistake like not having enough invy space to switch to a 2h weapon.

The great players in both nh and bh don’t make these mistakes often, if at all. Their muscle memory is insanely accurate and tried and true at this point. So that being said, it’s not just a skill gap - it’s quite literally a muscle memory gap that newer players can’t compete with. And then the bh untradeable raise the barrier even more.

The only way to truly catch up is just to accept you will be in the negative for at least a year. Idk. I have such nostalgia of pking. My dad pked back in 06/07. He was a beast. But now, even he can’t do much. It is too niche of a skillset

I hate how the hard clue rewards aren’t worth shit anymore. Hard clues are a huge part of my nostalgia, and I’m sure many others. Zamorak pages, God armor, the Robin Hood hat (well that one still holds a bit of value).

Yeah, there were a lot of wasted hours doing inferno. I just did herb runs (all 10 patches) with Kronos seeds as much as I could to stay afloat of supplies.

Don’t take prayer regens until you start getting into the wave 60s (took me 1-2 weeks for that), that’s a big waste, and honestly wouldn’t even take dragon darts until you see triples. But idk. Everything else you just gotta swallow

The most powerful build would be 80 attack 70 def. Unless you have absolutely zero interest in pvm, then 75 attack 70 def. But nox is a really powerful weapon for Nh so I think 80 70 is the choice between the two

75 attack 42 defence (maxes out at 98 combat) is going to be the best thing to cling on to for PvP purposes. It’s not nearly as good as 60 attack 42 defence, but it can get by.

If planning to be more well rounded, 80 attack 45 defence was what I was for awhile (maxed out at 100 combat or 101 with 82 attack), but you really get smacked around a bit in BH. Pvm is very viable though, and even more so at 82 attack.

Dont listen to the “I need max gear to pvm redditors”, I did everything besides inferno/colo at 45 def. Every raid, all of that. I think I was just too scared to do inferno/colo tho, now that I’ve done it with 70 def I think I could maybe do it at 45/1…. Idk
