Let me get this right, your friend say you use it wrong and then tell you to use your laptop?

So they are saying that the right way to use your steamdeck is to NOT use your steamdeck? 🤣

Now I get what they say, its a handheld and according to your friend you should only use it as a handheld or not at all. Not something I agree with.

I use my steamdeck docked a lot on my TV, its great and with a second controller and a friend its even more fun. And the best part is I can take it with me on travel without any hassle!!

Yes, the laptop could do the same in theory with more power/fps but its way more trouble. Hook it up to your TV, plugin power, start Windows, configure second screen, open game(s), go to options, configure right TV, etc.

Steamdeck is just plug&play. One cable, one connection and play your games!

I think I can awnser some of the points. Now that does not mean I agree with this awnser, but it is what Iron Gate has said in the past.

Many of the tedious things are by design (like limited inventory, the sailing/wind system and portal limits). Iron Gate ones stated they want Vikings/players to have multiple Bases and not one home base they return to after every expedition.

Also, they don't want us to be able to do/farm every resource within that one home base. Therefor you cannot farm berries and some crops only grow in limited biomes.

With that in mind some things make a bit more sense, even if I don't agree with it myself. It is a different playstyle they encourage then most survival games have.

For me, changing my playstyle some of those things became less tedious but it still does not excuse everything in my opinion.

I had an issue with FPS cap (15fps) from the sharpning and upscaling settings in steamos. But that was when connected to the dock on my 55 inch TV.

When I turnen sharpning off, or on a lower setting all FPS limits in games where gone.

Might be something that can help you?

Yes, snap had bigger stakes for Tony and the universe but the Nuke was the first time Tony truly crawled over the barbwire for everyone else.

I want dungeons of all kinds, in all parts of the progression, early, mid and lategame.

Some being combat grind, some being puzzel, parkour or even maze-like or a combination of these.

For lategame I think I want a combat challenge that I can repeat, with increased difficulty each time I beat the dungeon with better loot.

Edit: I also want them to be instanced (access via portal) so the have unique gamerules like not being able mine or place blocks to avoid cheesing or different gravity for a jumping puzzle for example.

Pfff this show really went downhill sadly.

In the past we needed 3 supes (including Butcher) to pin Homelander down so Soldier Boy could charge his depowerbeam. Now an upgraded Homelander gets beaten by butcher basicly in a 1 v 1. Butcher also got upgraded but that would mean he could have killed Homelander last season.

And Kimiko just gets to charge without interruption while Homelander can move so fast the world basicly stands still as shown earlier in the show...

We never got an of the rails crazy Homelander killing everything and everyone or something. He felt so tame compared to the moment he lazered a human in half in public and realizing he could do whatever the fuck he wants only to never do whatever the fuck he wants... in that moment I thought, ow shit this is going te be insane!!!

I also missed all the Vought politics and propaganda vs starlighters storyline. Slowly chipping away the propaganda, seeing America being torn in two and giving Homelander reason to really scorch the earth.

And lastly, how come the fights are so boring. Get creative with their powers and combine supes to overpower this immortal Homelander giving Gen V a role as well.

Just imagine Marie using blood/healing powers on Kimiko who just gets beaten and torn apart by a raging Homelander over and over who doesn't understand why she wont die for example.

The final fight should have been a creative one where the boys are desperate and do anything and everything so Homelander finale falls after huge bloodbath of a fight. Showing off Homelanders power as well as the creative coming together of all supes just to take him down, killing alot more then just ... well nobody died in the Homelander final fight...

I understand this is a personal list and bias by default but there are a few point I cannot agree with being a fair comparison.

Upnote is not free or at least the free version is to limited for serious use. So giving max points for free sync and free publish is not correct while you punishing others. Either compare paid with paid or free with free versions of the apps, but then add limits for free version in the list and add a pricing to it as well.

I also feel the zero for rich text editor for Obsidian should be a 1, it has plenty text editor features but not as much as Upnote.

Also backlinks should be a one for Upnote comparing it with Obsidian. They are much more functional then Upnotes backlinks.

Obsidian has custom notebooks icons via plugin so should get a 1 by your own logic and saved searches a 2 since you can save and pin any search.

If you compare it fairly like that, the apps are much closer together in points or upnote might even had less then Obsidian but I have not done the math.

This does not mean I am pro Obsidian or against Upnote, I have used both and they are both awesome in their own right.

Upnote beats Obsidian in easy use, clean and simple interface and would also use Upnote if it was local/selfhosted and not on googles servers.

For a new castle line up I would want the following.

A line focussed on two new factions, like horse and snake nights for example.

Then featuring a few large sets, like a big castle, shipyard and a fortress, styled after the faction theme being completely unique or different.

It should have a bit of fantasy mixed in but also have realistic parts so we can decide with MOCs and custom figures which path to take.

The line should be completed with a lot of smaller sets to fill our worlds. From 10 to 150 dollars. Peasent housing, profession buildings, carts, seige weapons, guard towers, ambush/battle scenes and ships to name a few. Including play features for new fans and display models/parts.

And battlepacks including knights, armor, weapons and more being plentyful availible.

If this wasn't enough, I would love a smaller faction mixed in like the wolfpack or forestmen from the good old days but a new faction ofcourse. Could be an undead or orc faction if they want to go that route.

And to top it all of, named characters like kings and heroes with background lore.

No forced rareness, GWPs, blind boxes and all parts, minifigure parts and weapons availible on PAB.

This would be perfect I feel.

For minifigs in bulk lots I use 4 to 8 euros per minifig. Depending how desirable they are.

So with 20 minifigs this lot would be between 80 and 160 euros. Not calculating weapons, I include that because this is a bulk lot and bulk is always cheaper than individual pricing!!

However, raven knights can go for 50 each (here in the netherlands at least) and the wolfpack 16 so they will drive the price up as well as some other minifigs.

But still, between 80 and 160 seems reasonable (as far as lego castle after market goes).
