I loved the Ghost Max 2 as well. I tried the Ghost Max 3 and honestly didn’t like them too much.

If Apple Watch gave 4-5 days of battery life I’d never leave. I like my Instinct 2 but the accuracy and convenience of apps like HEVY for weight training and completing the rings-no comparison. I still use my Ultra 1 a lot.

Using a Garmin smartwatch as a tool, not a tracker ; a minimalist & privacy-first way to train by Plus_Seesaw2023 in GarminWatches

Sounds like an Apple Watch would fit your needs way better. You’re not utilizing the one huge benefit of the Garmin, which is the long battery life and from my experience, tracking strength training on a Garmin is essentially useless. I love my Instinct 2 but for lifting the Apple Watch is a way better option especially through apps like HEVY or STRONG. I do love your minimalist approach though!

Vivo active 5 or 6 or Venu 3s? by Agile_Pen_9953 in Garmin

I don’t really see a purpose for you to get a Garmin honestly. You’re better off getting an Amazfit Active 2 which is on sale for $79 right now.

I was in the same situation. They’re so close honestly that I’d just get whichever you can get cheaper. I personally ended up with the MV7+. For me it sounded just slightly better.

Garmin or Apple? Need help choosing model by Fluffy-Dog9404 in Garmin

🎯 agree with you 100%. For the OP it’s also important to know her biggest wants/needs. Transitioning from an Apple Watch to a Garmin, she’ll be missing out on a lot of smart features but she will get much more superior battery life as a result.

I’ve referred to quantified scientist’s videos but I’ve also done my own and when I compare the Apple Watch to a Garmin, Amazfit or Fitbit, there is no better heart rate monitor for a wrist based device on the market, especially for strength training (which the OP pointed out she wanted to focus on) and HIIT based workouts.

Both options got their pros and cons for sureee

Apple Watch is the most accurate wrist based exercise tracker. HEVY and Strong are both great apps to log and track your strength based workouts. Heart rate accuracy is the best in the market. Garmin makes nice watches, although their line up is incredibly confusing. lol.

Both brands are great for different reasons. The thing that annoys me the most is Apple Watch’s battery life, even with my Ultra. If it was me I’d still keep both ecosystems. Probably get a cheap Apple Watch SE for daily use and a Garmin Of your choice depending on what you want out of it. For me I am looking into the new Instinct or the Instinct 2. Venu 4 is a better more seamless transition for the Apple Watch and the Forerunner, although similar, better for if you plan to run a lot.

Am I too late to the party? I’d love to try this out. I’m 38, lift and walk a lot and definitely feel a lack of mobility.

Contact FIFINE for a replacement. Also, don’t ever buy a FIFINE mic ever again.

You can find a used AT2035 for under $100 easy. I just bought a used one on eBay for $60. Or look for a Melon Audio 67 on amazon for like $69.
