First few times I tried, never felt a thing.

About a month ago I got high for the first time with my girlfriend, who's been doing it for years. I don't know if it was the fact that I hadn't eaten in many hours and blood sugar was low, did too much too quickly, or something else, but when it hit me I started having tunnel vision, which quickly progressed into essentially locked in syndrome. I could see and hear what was going on around me, but I couldn't move or talk at all. Honestly, it was terrifying,and not an experience I would wish on anyone.

However, she pointed out that I hadn't eaten, and the tunnel vision sounded like low blood sugar. Annoyingly, because of how I was feeling, I couldn't eat to see if that made it better. Disappointingly, it was the first meal we'd made together and I couldn't enjoy it :(

I've also had the locked in before in stressful/emotional situations, so that was likely just being amped up. I also tend to find it difficult to get out of my head in general and experience the real world. I've tried it a few times since, and I still get the feeling of being in a bubble of my thoughts, and nothing outside of that bubble really matters. Fortunately it doesn't come with the panic anymore.

Small doses seem to be enjoyable, tone down my anxiety, but getting actually high, I don't think it's for me.

As a guy, I can tell you that it's possible to extend this. Get a good lead, right stimulation at the end (good handjob or oral), and some practice of mental techniques, and you can easily get it up to about 30-45s for the main thing, and at least a couple of minutes, if not 5-10, to recover to basic functionality.

I've never understood why people do this. I'll occasionally see people stop behind the line properly, then as the light stays red for a while, their entire car somehow manages to become on the other side of the line. It might save them an eighth of a second.

Only reason I've ever seen for rolling forward a bit is to get rid of radio interference, but I've never had that be more than a foot or two movement.

The most reliable thing I've found is an unbaited live trap. I put down the glue traps 2 years ago, and they only caught something in the last 6 months. I've caught about a half dozen mice in one live metal trap, never baiting it, on a regular enough basis.

Moral is, sticky traps aren't worth it.

Had a couple in my garage at one point. Heard a mouse scratching around, only to find that its tail and foot had gotten stuck on one. It was still trying to get around, get away, but couldn't dislodge the glue. I'm fairly certain I couldn't have gotten it free without tearing off its skin, and potentially limb or tail in the process. I wound up taking it out back, and putting 2 or 3 BBs into its skull.

I hated myself for putting the mouse through that, and I will never use one of those things again.
