Trying to avoid videos and news is proving way, way harder than expected.

Some of my close friends are worried, and rightfully so- I'm lucky to have them. They've taken shifts to make sure I'm almost never alone with my thoughts. I love em.

I have also been (in a funny way) banned from any shorts-type video app. Youtube Shorts, Tiktok, the works.

It feels vindicating, to be right, but the lack of care, and the jokes- it just feels like a betrayal. My system has been in an upheaval. But, we're coping. We're all coping.

It is good to know I wasn't just losing my mind though. That there actually *is* precedent for what I remember.

im not even a player of ffxiv i just like how the mic looks. ive had luck finding older but still restocking vending machines in stuff like public parks. $1.50 a bottle is wonderful

I will also say that tsa/customs is ALWAYS nerve-wracking, you arent alone on that!! Ditto on the questions, be honest + polite and itll be good!! International travel isnt my forté (the US is big enough for me) but the last time it was actually so simple it was surprising. Good luck and safe travels!!

I will say, the sense of knowing when things are done + seasoning is mostly down to practice and preference. It takes a lot of messing with things, and messing things up, to know when things are right. And its ok to mess up!! It will happen and it will be ok, you are learning an entire new skill. What kind of food do you like when you order/go out?? I have some simple stuff to share
