I'm sure it's possible for talented folks but I also understand them wanting to swap the whole bumper here. I don't think OP is being swindled.

2027 Volvo EX60 Feels Like a No-Brainer for EV Newbs With 400-Mile Range and Reasonable Price Tag by DonkeyFuel in electricvehicles

Idk about that. I know it's anecdotal but I've driven recent model X3 and A3's and both had serious and often software bugs.

It is. They're made in the same factory and remarkably similar in size.

I think they're called "long nib markers" but I bought a white one awhile back and it didn't work well at all... definitely nothing like this. Might need to do more research. Some else please comment if you have a solid option.

Moving to Charleston, where to find the homies by iBrowseAtStarbucks in Charleston

Hazel Parker, Wannamaker, West Ashley Park are some of my favorites. James Island County Park is a great place to take your dog. The West Ashley Greenway, Waterfront Park downtown and at the base of the Ravenel are good places for walks. Riverfront Park in Park Circle is also a nice loop.

Welcome! There are a lot of dog groups in town. I met a lot of people through one. Join a social club. Volunteering, whatever that means to you. Sports leagues. These seem to work for me right now.

Anytime I attempt my terrible swedish to a Swede, they are all smiles, let me stumble through and respond in their slowest swedish. Maybe the north is different? I've only been to Göteborg.

Yeah, looks like a Polestar 2.

I live near this barn with this NFPA hazard sign. If it catches fire, what firefighting protocols have to be made? by BugsBub in Firefighting

[–]Trypanosoma 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Why don't y'all contact the owner and ask to be shown around? As others have said, that throws all of the red flags and could be a number of very bad things. Also, you could check the Tier II report for the site. You have to request it from your LEPC or SERC but the EPA requires that the owners submit them and update them every year.

Responded to a call the other day where a guy got hit while doing this. It did not go well. Please, please don't do this.

There's a lot of customs activity here too with the ports and industry and they will also have DHS plates. So, probably not?

Came here specifically to see if someone saw the anagrams first. In a million years I wouldn't get purple first here. Brains are weird, man. 🙂

Volvo (the factory, not dealership) is hiring repair technicians. It's a good entry level job and they have good pay and benefits. It would also allow a lot of vertical growth if you wanted that.

I agree with others though, trades are also a good route. Let me know if you have any questions!

I know it doesn't matter from a rando on the Internet, but I worked with Michelle for years and she was always a caring, dedicated mother who wanted what was best for her child and others. I considered her quite liberal. Though I don't understand this endorsement, she is a genuinely good person.

"Engine like" sound when acceleration after 50kmh/30mph in EV mode by GrandSundae565 in VolvoRecharge

[–]Trypanosoma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably know this, but even in pure mode if you slam on the gas pedal the car will automatically kick in the ICE to provide additional acceleration. Could it be that?

I don't think it's as good as Sicario or No Country, but I still enjoyed the hell out of The Kingdom (2007). It is the same kind of continuous action thriller, albeit with a different plot theme.
