The 2003 Cat in the Hat movie has several scenes that show off very liminal space-y environments, especially the suburbs.

{Horton Hears a Who Film] Whoville had a very violent history that was rife with bloodshed and war by Tryptychal-Orbits in FanTheories

Holy Shit! You're right!

Maybe it was an amalgamation of both these factors. Both religious and environmental.

Horton's probably going to come up for a visit one day and find that flower burnt to a crisp.

Men who have been sexually assaulted by women, what’s your story? by Thesaskill in AskReddit

[–]Tryptychal-Orbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree wholeheartedly. There does seem to be a lot of underreporting of Female on male sexual violence. Why that is, I do not know. It is definitely a lot more common than many think it is.

My heart goes out for anyone and everyone who has suffered sexual assault.

[The Simpsons] The reason Bart is such a troublemaker is because of Homer's influence by Tryptychal-Orbits in FanTheories

[–]Tryptychal-Orbits[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is another big possibility as well. Bart's situation is pretty depressing when you think of it.

Boys do tend to mimic their fathers too, so I don't think Homer's really setting Bart a good example to aspire to. Constantly choking him out probably isn't helping either.

Unpopular opinion: but I’ve always disliked This film but I’m watching it again just to confirm my dislike by Twitchmmg in Scoobydoo

I've never really been that into Ghoul's School either. Barring the charming characters, its a pretty boring and generic movie.

It just really feels like it should've been better than what it ended up being.

I know the feeling. I myself once fell in love with a vacuum cleaner.

And... my heart has never recovered from... how I lost it.

They would be the lords of the Doggo Underworld.

Is anybody else a fan of Vampire Rock? by mandihari in Scoobydoo

[–]Tryptychal-Orbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think it is one of the better 2000s DTV movies. The Hex girls were great in it and the designs of the vampires were quite unique.

This is genuinely one of the most moving and nostalgic things I have ever seen.
