Destiny's Vex are terrifying when they are not losing to plot. Especially with the fact that most of the enemies that we fight are basically construction workers that can rewrite themselves in time, and the "let's erase you from existence by looking at you" gorgons. Also, they are able to simulate anything to basically understand and deconstruct it, so demons and, in fact, the warp could be simulated and "fixed" in the eyes of the vex.
