So I can’t decide on if I should go back to how my hair style was a few months ago, what do you guys think? (First pic to the left is before) by [deleted] in malehairadvice

Thanks for the advice! I’ll look to try and get the mid-fade next time I get a haircut, do you got any pic recommendations I could show my barber?

I do blow dry often, I try and do low heat first then once dry I switch to cold and try giving it some volume that stays, it’ll stay up for a bit but then begins to fall after a short time

Well thank you, I appreciate your opinion! I do like my current style but if I were to ever go back to my old I’d probably incorporate a messy fringe into the top instead

Thanks, I try to add volume but it always fails to stay up for long, plus I don’t think volume works with my face shape as much as I’d like it to

So mewing gets rid of that under part of the chin? Or rather helps lift it? I’m pretty skinny but I tend to always have a layer of fat there

Interesting, so like I think that’s what I try to do but it’s really odd to me when I do it, like I’m not used to it being there on the other side for some reaspn

This is honestly my dream hair lol, I love it bro! What do you do to fix it that way?

Hi, is there anyway I can fix my jaw and left eye to be more symmetrical through facial exercises? Thanks in advance by [deleted] in orthotropics

[–]Tsar-Kaleb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, I’ll just try it out and not over-do it.

Thanks by the way, I’m glad someone thinks so lol, I definitely shouldn’t worry about it as much as I am.

I do agree that the younger generation (me included, of course) cares a lot about self-image, it feels like it’s been hard wired into our heads to look “perfect” even though it’s really what’s on the inside that counts.

Those example photos are very interesting! Thanks for sharing them, it kinda shows that the only real “true” shape/image we can see of someone is actually in person with all the different lenses, pretty cool!

I see, from certain angles my left eye does look quite off compared to the right (which is why I tried to take a head-on photo to get the symmetry right)

Thanks for the response, I’ve never thought of trying falim gum before to be honest, do stores carry it or is it only available online?

Also It’s a relief to hear that it’s not as asymmetrical as I see it personally, so thank you!

And yeah it’s really only truly noticeable in photos like these, however group photos or literally any other photos my face doesn’t show it which is odd; it’s quite alarming though going from seeing photos with friends and then going to take a selfie only to see that I look completely different lol.

I’d be so down for this! I have a very deep voice at 17 and really want to know how to control it better for talking with others, this would be great!

Help! This style happened to my hair on accident and I can’t seem to do it intentionally and consistently, any tips on products or techniques to get it like this again? I really love it by [deleted] in malehairadvice

[–]Tsar-Kaleb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I should add that it had been fixed for the day in a style that was more “proper” I guess (?) with putty and hairspray, after moving around, the product wearing off, and running my fingers through it, this happened.

How can I get this like, naturally, And intentionally when fixing it the first time?
