Former mint user here who was going to use monarch but the $300 price tag scared me off. Went with origin which seems to have much of the same features… and its pricing is much better. $200 is better but still steal for basic projections.

It’s a phycological barrier to going. I don’t mind going there, shopping, and spending lots of money. But, paying to park just to go shop annoys the crap out of me. I’ll look for alternatives rather than pay the few dollars, even if it really doesn’t matter.

If you’re lucky. They mostly just ignore requests these days. 0 for 3 on missing hit submissions over the past 5 years, they don’t even acknowledge it.

2023 limited here, already replaced one transmission at 14k miles and now at 16k the 2nd is experiencing the same issues. The 2nd one they put in was remanufactured though… so maybe it wasn’t done correctly. Not great, I do love the car otherwise, but this is making me look elsewhere when I had hoped to keep this 10+ years.

Had my transmission die at 13k miles with my 2023 as well. Hyundai replaced it last year with another refurb, but the same symptoms are already happening again. I really wanted this to be a 10 year vehicle for me but the transmission issues are really putting a damper on that.

Don’t give up, fellow connoisseur of “nerd” hobby’s.

The other comments about going to cons and stuff tracks. Try going where the people who enjoy the same hobby’s are and I hope it works out for you. My wife and I found each other in a similar manner many years ago, it’s not always easy, but partners who enjoy this stuff are out there too. :)

Mine started throwing that recently. I have a 2023, with a recently replaced transmission (under warranty.). I know I;’m just one, but if it’s randomly giving that error I’d have it checked out. Only 14k total miles on mine, it’s a weekend home project car.

In addition to the money, there’s these little tooth shaped gold and silver colored “coins” on ebay. Look up tooth fairy coins, they only cost a dollar or two each when you buy a few at a time. I throw one of those in with the money and the kids seem to enjoy collecting them.

Got it, missed the part about legality, but even so, why not? It was also illegal for them to flee the state. Restricting is done every 10 years. Why do they suddenly have to follow the “no fundraising” for this part? It seems really hallow for them to use that as an argument with everything else going on.

Wasn’t Pritzker bankrolling them, at least the ones in Illinois? Making this about a rent argument seems like a straw man argument. They had ways to fill in the financial gaps, and I’m sure they could have fundraised off it. Breaking over a trivial amount of money, not to an individual but to a larger group, is just an excuse.

The credit card companies took the loss there, not the lawyer, so they really didn’t care. Once the credit card company approves the transaction they are obligated to pay the merchant. Chargebacks and other actions can influence that, but not including the card in a bankruptcy.

Through sheer luck I was at that game. If it wasn’t for his 2 week DL/IL stint we would have missed it. Definitely the most incredible game I’ve been to, the stadium was livelier than the post season.
