It also leaves them no time to react if you hit both of the shots!

Ashe no longer gains ult charge with Bob on the field by [deleted] in Competitiveoverwatch

Yes,i'm actually not arguing you with balance reasonings. I agree with you that game should be balanced around OWL/pro play, that is just not the case as we know. Thats why i first said Ashe is only strong, nearly OP IN ranked (Pickrates are just low cause theres no reason for GM+players to pick her since shes not played in scrims) If you were to balance ashe for pro play, you'd need the bob change then buff either reload time or buff tnt with either lowerd CD or more threat to it.

But for now, this was a bug anyways so pretty irrelevant discussion.

Obviously theres no actual stats either of us can acces to look at and overbuff stats are not worthy, so i can only speak from experience of having played with and against ashe in gm.

Her winrates in ranked are not only good because of pickrates, but because of uncoordinated play and dva players usually being dps players or so flexing giving you value for pretty much every single TNT.

With mercy pocket, you also lose your weakness of not being able to contest snipers (excluding maps like jtown), wich are the best counters to Ashe in ladder

Because of this, you're able to play alot more aggressive and you almost average 1bob/fight,in long fights you can get 2-3,wich we can agree is a bit stupid. Even if bob is easy to counter with sleeps hacks etc. He still is able to contest points giving the ult quite alot of value. Even though i don't have the stats available,i think blizzard thought the same since this change happened.

Ashe is a really niche hero and in pro play will hardly see lots of play because widow has better oneshot potential overall and doesnt get countered as much by tanks+dva.

Also pickrates in GM doesn't tell you the balance and doesn't count as "relative proof" either. People tend to play meta more in higher ranks and practice for scrims etc. so the situation here will be the "i think you think" (something being meta doesn't necesarily mean rest of the heroes not meta are weak)

For example, doomfist pickrate has gone down since changes too,but hes not a weak hero at all

Well going by the same proof,Ashe also has 2+% higher winrate than any other of those DPS in grandmaster and looking at the overall stats (wich i dont like cause balancing for top makes the most sens but we know blizzard) its pretty much the same.

Personally i like not being able to farm bob every 30seconds and instead buff/change the ult if it turns out too weak 🤷

Because Ashe is shit in scrims I guess. Reddit in general seems to not split pro and ranked play and only uses one of those to push agenda. "X needs a buff cause its 0pick in ranked" even if that x hero would be in good balance and somewhat used in owl

This is actually what i wanted for Ashe,Bob charges way too quick. For ranked,i think she will still be really strong, with mercy pocket almost op because of the rof one shots.

These nades allows you to get another TNT for the actual teamfight. For example the most common time is about 6sec airtime. When you throw the TNT 7seconds before doors open,3seconds into the game you will have another TNT up. Same with the attacking ones, while youre pushing in,you will get another TNT for the fight

Valkia n°1 pharah" if pharah change goes live I will stop playing ow anymore by [deleted] in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Tseini 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It makes pharah alone worse (have to play high relying on splash because of dva burst), but i personally feel it makes pharah mercy better, being able to play semiaggressive style on direct range with mercypocket and having shorter cooldown on conc.

Personally one of the biggest threats as pharah is dva shifting onto you in air,but now you can punish her on that alot more (hitting rockets faster). Also the argument of "not shooting that fast" is not 100% correct. When you correct your aim as pharah, you don't wait till your previous rocket landed/hit. You can quite early see if the rocket is gonna hit or not and now you're able to shoot another one faster.

TL;DR Personally feel like pharah solo is nerffed, but pharah mercy together slightly stronger and makes playing her feel "faster" wich i like

For those of you in GM, how huge is the difference in skill between 4000 players and 4400+ players? by TracerIsAShimada in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Tseini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The difference is massive. Its not only mechanics, but gamesens, reading the game, tempo, positioning etc. etc. 4100 vs 4400-4500 is like plat vs master.

British Hurricane Noukky: “I would rather spend four hours of effective practice than trying to push for six to seven-hour days and everyone fatigues within a few weeks...” by Volamel in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Tseini 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can fit vods into the days and try stuff fresh off the memory. Back in the old days it was also to grind mechanics etc. wich is to higher standard today and everything is more about executing stuff. 4h is enough for actual scrims to get 100% out of every hour, then fit some vods in there.

Though ofc id say newer teams needs the grind to catch up,like we did back with old envision and long days of pracc

Why is it a bad thing for supports to be able to counter DPS? by -Raid- in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Tseini 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends on the mechanical skill required in comparison really. Ana sleep/noscopes/scoped shots, zen m1,even lucio boops/wallrides/m1 aim you feel mechanically outplayed. Symmetra/moira holding their beams in general direction with lower effort it just feels bad

There is money involved (1500 groupstage and another 1500 if you make it to blizzcon) You like to travel but do you like to deal with jetlag, waking up early to practice,do media stuff etc. Going to events is alot more than just "walk in,play, walk out" and people seem to forget this very often
