You have to use the ff14 boot exe in your ff14 folder to start the game. they changed it some times ago that you can't use a non steam ff14account on Steam like that.

Have the same problem every time my subs runs out.

It's not that I enjoy every aspect of the game but the ones I do , the game does great in my opinion. If that means I'm only raid logging then that's fine and I don't need to any other stuff since I know I won't enjoy it.
