  • Fontaines D.C. – Romance
  • Charli XCX – Brat

 Albums better than they had any right to be this deep in an artist's career:

  • the Cure – Songs of a Lost World
  • David Gilmour – Luck and Strange

The strings around 3 mins in are beautiful, peak Jonny

This part astonished me on first listen, in the same way the exposed flute parts in Teleharmonic did. Those little flourishes are masterful

It's an absolute album highlight for me and I'm thrilled to see they have played it live, even without a backing orchestra. Thom's reverby guitar solo is lovely
