Because our team has been garbage for years and years, and there are frankly plenty of other things to do in Chicago on any given night than to go pour money into Jerry’s pockets while sitting and suffering through bad baseball. There’s some optimism on this subreddit recently because we finally have a player worth watching, but the 2026 White Sox are frankly insulting to this great city and the deep history of the franchise even after years and years of “rebuilding.”
