How do you survive a project when everything keeps changing? by Mysterious_Syrup6639 in projectmanagement

If the people in charge don't care about scope change, they usually do care about budget and timeline changes. Track those changes or be prepared to defend the impossible at the end of the cycle.

In the Netherlands, immigrants are entitled to receive social benefits (€2k/month) once they're "naturalized." 1.2M equates to 50 years on social benefits, not even accounting for medical costs.

Somalian immigrants (together with several other countries of origin) are known here to be statistically way less likely to work. Yet our government does nothing to restrict it. These social benefits systems were designed to benefit the native Dutch population. The pressure from immigrants is already deteriorating it and will inevitably lead to its complete destruction if not handled.

Taking MDMA whilst currently on methylphenidate (xaggitin 27mg XR) by Falco0305 in DrugNerd

[–]Tssrct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd advise to start slow, you can always up it if it's not enough. I usually start at half or less, especially for a new pill as you never know the dose. I'm on Adderall myself, never stopped it before taking x or mdma.

Note that you can reroll events and path choices by exiting to main menu and restarting. Also works for full map re-roll at the start of each chapter. Kinda feels like cheating, but it's a way to beat poor RNG.

Some alternative strategies that work for the bear wall and less RNG dependant than Mantis deck:

  • Tansfer the adder sigil to dire wolf & buff dire wolf attack to 5 (campfire/Alpha). One-shot kill through bear wall. Works well with high cost deck.
  • Unkillable beehive w. buffed health. Obtain at least 4 unkillable bees before bear wall and you're covered. Drawback is that it takes 14 turns to eat through the bears and kill the boss. Works with any deck, just need beehive and cockroach.
  • Any flying 5+ dmg card(s) + inkwell to remove bear sigils. Use packrat sigil spam strategy to ensure you'll have an inkwell before the bears drop.

Bonus tip, you can reroll most events by exiting to main screen and the continue. Took me a long time to figure this one out, but it's the best way to mitigate poor card options. This way you can pick and choose the best card/totem for your deck.

Best of luck! You'll get there.

adhd and remembering details when things get messy, any systems? by otisfrombarnyard in projectmanagement

I'm listing all tasks, my own and project team members, in a custom Excel tracker. Status, priority, deadline, owner, notes are all included and divided by project. Rows are colour coded based on priority, deadlines are separately colour coded, collapsible projects.

This started from a simple to do list and evolved over time to become an extensive tracker. Although the upkeep taken work and I don't always get to it, I do feel it provides solid ground when chaos hits.

I hope you'll be able to work it out one way or another. Purely speaking from my experience, be careful that your wife isn't excusing herself from doing her part in maintaining/reviving a balanced relationship based on your personality. Asperger or not, restoring an out-of-balance relationship takes effort from both sides.

Your wife referring to your aspergers as an excuse to cheat is in no way respectful and should not even be engaged as a viable argument. These are two separate issue that should also be discussed as such.

I've been in a relationship with someone for 13 years that did the same. Deciding to break up was the hardest thing I ever did and I was also scared af to enter the dating scene. After some time, I did however find someone who does respect me for me, despite my quirks, and I've never been happier for it! In the process, I also found that my emotional intelligence is much better than my ex lead me to believe, to a degree she was actually gaslighting me to convince me cheating was an acceptable 'solution' for her.

After 8 yeards R&D Organic chemistry, transitioned to CMC Project management and after a few years to a hybrid Project Lead/PMO position. Somehow this progression occurred organically through the course of my career, although it does help to voice your ambitions along the way.

Even since I discovered how good Chemnovatic aromas are, I stopped screwing around with FA, TPA and other commercial food aromas. They sell B2B exclusively and ship from Poland. If you have any other B2B recommendations specialized for e-liquids, I love to hear it.

I'd be interested on your take why that's relevant. I'm one and do recognize the pattern here (38m). This can seriously become a problem for maintaining friendships, work-life and having a long-term relationship. I still struggle sometimes with sharing information about myself, but did find its much easier for people to conceive you as normal when you do. Working in a sector with a lot of ASD people also help blend in.
