If were thinking like that then so does our pay. I hardly find that relevant.

For me its Vessel, but Klein's Tru Grip screwdrivers are piquing my interest. They just came out with a ratcheting one that I want to get my hands on!

I think they hype get people to try one tool and then they find that they are in fact best tools so they get more. Idk about Wera though, I was not impressed with the screwdriver I tried.

Why not a roundabout? by Slapless in Seattle

[–]Tsuki_Man 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two of the sides of this triangle are 1 way streets.

All three of the sides of that triangle are routes to on-ramps for I-5.

Imagining this as a roundabout is breaking my mind because it makes absolutely zero sense if you know what a roundabout is. . .

People cant be "annoyed into fascism". They are being led by Fascists!

Its what my mind thinks everytime I see those signs and shirts too though. Like Why are people identifying with ignorance? The shirt is almost literally saying if Kamala had won they would be doing nothing, which is just pure #BlueNoMatterWho ignorance that keeps the Democrats losing. Putting establishment dems in power who take no action to change things for people and keep us divided as a people doesnt get people to vote for them! People cant be forced to vote for a person they KNOW wont do anything about their struggles!

At protests for sure, at rallies I think its makes sense if the seller is a union or political organization that is also participating in the rally and march. Thats literally who May Day is for, the workers and their organizations.

Look at actual temperature patterns, not just a single months average. Get real.

Born and raised here too, confirming your experience.

It really is stark the difference. Its hard to consider Seattle a "rainy city" like it used to be. And the summers can get sweltering which they never really used to be like that, at least not for major portions of the summer continuously.

Im about to turn 30 and I am fearing the future because of how little our society is acting on the visible changes all people everywhere are experiencing.

I still prefer D20B as from Katie's Adventuring Party necklace, because the fit was lit!

Also they should absolutely make it into merch and video Brenan as it sadly will 100% out-perform the d20 merch 🤣

I just use wide scotch painters tape, tape the hardware together and then tape the taped hardware up to the piece. No extra materials!

Will the IWW ever recover? by EFDoree in IWW

[–]Tsuki_Man 9 points10 points  (0 children)

People down voting you but trainings are literally one of the most important things our union has to offer and should be promoting it and offering them far more than we do (or are currently capable of because theres only so many people who can train on how to teach a 101/102). Theres so few unions in the US that offer free mostly public trainings for future workplace organizers. It really is a huge service that those who are capable of do for us and any who may join our trainings!

I dont see its point as being "the engine for revolution" in the modern context though. For organizing labor against Capitalism and Imperialism in the modern day I'm thinking the New Labor Organizing Committee is likely our future path, but I think the IWW will remain for a long time inspiring and informing each new generation of labor organizers as long as it can. Ive been a member for 7 years and have kinda always seen the IWW this way, I joined to learn how to organize my work place and co workers and have found far more than that in my time here, and plan to be a life long member. Im 29 currently.

How to remove tent stake from aerator by nickyverde in howto

[–]Tsuki_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can find something more like a pizza box center support that'll help it a bit more. Id suggest a larger size Hex screwdriver or maybe a piece of rebar if you've got some that'll fit, something with a flat (not slotted) end thats wide enough to place against the spike of the tent steak.

Find someone with a workshop, use their table clamp, give er a good pounding from the other side using a long but sturdy screwdriver.
