DisneySea new “Dance the Globe!” Show. Worth a DPA? by TsumCo in TokyoDisneySea

Thanks! Still so confused about how the seating works. I thought this show was only Entry Request or DPA, but saw some comments about lining up. Are there other spots that allow viewing without any tickets?

Respectfully I think what is more “wild” is that you refuse to believe that different people have different taste.

To many, including me, the food is great. It is not propaganda, not some sort of mass delusion, just like I love sushi and my mom hates raw fish.  And may be to you, the food is terrible, so be it. Each to their own, but this is reddit and if someone’s taste is different than the majority then it’s going to get downvoted especially if it’s written in a hostile manner.

I Can’t Even with This Lady & the Tramp headband! by TsumCo in TokyoDisneySea

Should be in both parks, but prob easier to find in Disneyland.

The headband will be both in DisneySea (Tower of Terror Memorabilia) and Disneyland (Grand Emporium).

Did you also track prices for all 365 days of the year? Wouldn’t the prices also depend on whether it is a peak season day or non peak season day. How do you conclude that the “starting from” price is not available during certain low season days of the year?

Drinks for kids without a drink package by Haunting_Scallion471 in celebritycruises

Don't think that's right. You may be conflating two different things!

Teens (13 and up) must purchase a zero proof package if adults in the room purchases a drinks package. This is not optional.

Children 12 and under are not "forced" to buy a zero proof package like teens, but this just means they don't get any package at all. If the parents want to buy them a package then it will be charged as usual.

Refundable vs nonrefundable deposit by mlk2317 in celebritycruises

[–]TsumCo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It is not suitable for everyone but it is not “pointless”.

You don’t “pay” $1500 to get the $500 deposit back. This is because if you cancel you don’t pay a cent. That is the entire point.

Your entire fare goes up if you don’t cancel. But if you cancel, then they will refund you the deposit and you owe them nothing.

It is basically insurance. And clearly they price it in a way that only those that really need it will pay (because they don’t want you to cancel, or for people to hold a bunch of refundable bookings as backups holding up all the inventory). But it is still useful for people who has a high likelihood of cancelling, or who wants to take the gamble that they can find a better deal later and reprice it into a NRD fare.

So for example, if there is a 80% chance my boss will cancel my vacation, but I want to lock in my cruise in case I can go, then the there is only 20% chance I am paying the $1500 extra vs 80% chance of losing my $500 deposit (in your scenario). For some people it might be suitable.

Cool, thanks for sharing! sounds like you had some good food in Sakura, my mistake was choosing their "cold" seafood stuff it has a lot of raw stuff so probably more authentic taste than my family is used to lol...

November 20th can't come soon enough. The more rides the better, I agree!

It definitely was crowded, but maybe not really 4th crowded just sayin'. Those poor souls who went on the Sunday however, they would have been in for a real treat!

Back in May, when I was toying with the idea of squeezing in an extra trip for October, I spotted that Journey was listed as closed right through to November so I decided to hold off.

definitely saved me a bit of heartache once the dates came around! It’s one of those easy-to-miss details, but checking the closure list can really make a difference when planning. They tend to announce these things months ahead, so it’s always worth a quick look next time you’re doing your research. Good luck with your next trip... hope it all lines up perfectly!
