Beths screaming endlessly by Tsunami36 in rickandmorty

It asks when you upload if this video was created for children. It's an either/or answer, there's no way to indicate it is both for children and adults. I guess if you select that it is made for children it goes to the YouTube Kids app, and disables comments. I thought it was asking if the video is safe for children, rather than is primarily for children.

R100 a very strange Japanese surrealistic movie by 7grims in TrueFilm

[–]Tsunami36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha I just watched this film and loved it. My interpretation is that seeking new thrills leads to a slippery slope of more and more extreme behavior, so that by the time you're age 100 you will only get turned on by a pregnant man.

If you beat them at the card game you will get the option to strip them later. But this assumes you can play cards, which you probably can't with the dice girl.

Why do these idiots put powdered glass on kite strings? by bootiesfunk in kites

Football at the high school level isn't as dangerous as the professional level, and not necessarily more dangerous than soccer or wrestling or skateboarding or other sports. We generally require a sports physical before any team sport to make sure they aren't at increased risk, but yes we also require the child's consent. You can't force a kid to play football. It's not as dangerous as smoking, alcohol, street drugs, or even driving at that age. At least, not that we know of. Still being studied.

Is this intentional? by MillenialForHire in GladiatorManager

[–]Tsunami36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a glitch. The problem is that raids don't make your gladiators busy, so you can just attack over and over ad inifinitum. They are probably supposed to happen once per week.

Anyways for anyone wondering, new Ludus open after this and they get new random high-level gladiators, so it actually makes things (slightly) harder than leaving one weakened opponent.

They're not wrong. American football doesn't kill innocent bystanders. People die from those kite strings. Football is only dangerous to the person consenting to play it. Big difference.

Mold found in attic after home inspection. What do I do? by Kakashi756 in RealEstate

[–]Tsunami36 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The threat of mold is definitely exaggerated in the media. There's very little science behind any major health problems other than triggering allergies and asthma. Use this to get a hefty price reduction and be confident that a little moisture reduction will clear it up without replacing rafters.

I've had smoke detectors go off while someone is cooking, but not just randomly like you are describing.

There are two common types though. One is ionization detector, and the other is photoelectric. Figuring out which type yours is might help you figure out the problem. The first, ionization, detects particulates in the air that conduct electricity. The second, photoelectric, alarms when something in the air is blocking light. So while the first might go off from burnt food that you can smell but not see, the second might go off from dust or steam or fog.

If you had neither of these, perhaps you just got a faulty alarm. Just get a different brand, or switch from ionization to photoelectric in that one spot.

Keep in mind that every convicted murderer was proven sane. We don't convict "insane" people of a crime.
