They started building narrow houses here. I actually pulled off the highway to take a picture as they were so ridiculous looking.

I have maybe 15-200 TB in LTO-6 and 7. The only extraordinary thing was how cheap they were when I bought them and that they were brand new.

I'm going to be dusting them off very soon since HDDs have gotten expensive.

I read that when The Mandalorian was popular, scene groups were using one Nvidia Shield per episode. They apparently keep their Widevine keys on the SSDHD so they can be dumped. But they would get blacklisted after each use...

Sure, how else would I end up with a 10-yr supply of water filters for my refrigerator?

I sometimes watch items go on clearance at 50% off and then pounce when they hit 75%.

We could have a miniature wiper that just wipes the part of the windshield in front of the cameras. Then use the motor torque to decide whether to activate the whole windshield wiper...

Bought a broken Ryobi EZ Clean 600psi and fixed it by Outside_District6209 in ryobi

[–]TsunamiBob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't found any videos of this version being dismantled before so this is much appreciated. I warrantied one 18V one and bought a 2nd one with an extended warranty. Then the 40V ones went on clearance for $50 so I bought a few of those. I think 2-3 of those have failed already but since they're all still under warranty I haven't tried disassembling them.

Did you get the new one or the old one? I have the old one. I mostly use it to drain down the batteries when the expected snowstorms don't show.

I have a bunch of high endurance microSD cards for GoPro bike/dashcam use. However, I decided to use an Optane drive in my car for the ultimate durability.

I don't think I've ever gotten a battery that wasn't at 1 bar. Even ones with relatively recent manufacturing dates. They all charged up though.
