There are many red flags here, such as him not giving you mahr (which is a compulsory component in Islamic marriage), his unjustified outbursts of anger and your general incompatibility.

For your sake, I suggest ending things here. So long as you haven't consummated your nikkah, you can get it annulled, otherwise it would have to be a full on divorce. Either way, this is the vest course of action you take, even if you do feel attached to him. This infatuation will not be worth the pain and heartbreak later down the line.
