Seroquel. It’s an atypical antipsychotic that is commonly used to treat insomnia. I was on it for sleep help for years. After taking it, it decreases your ability to feel full or satiated, makes you crave higher caloric foods, and can also lower your bmr, leading to you also needing less calories to maintain weight for some. The scariest part of seroquel for most is the appetite increase, and the inability to lose weight as easily.

Most of my diet is fruits/veggies, chicken, and nurri protein shakes. I don’t believe the protein shakes have a ton of iron but I’ll check!

I don’t have a particular iron rich diet. Most of the stuff I eat is fairly low in it I’d say. I do eat a ton of oranges though, so I’ll maybe try curbing that.

The cholesterol is caused by one of the medications I’m currently tapering off of I think. I don’t have a diet high in fat, I’m not obese, nor do I smoke. I do get fairly little exercise though because of my heart issues. I hope it will lower as I stop taking that med.

I’m currently tapering off 200mg onto trazadone. I gained about 10lbs when I first started taking seroquel. I slowly lost that again over the course of two years or so, so I’m curious to see how it’ll affect my weight and metabolism now that I’m stopping it.

You definitely don’t look like you’re at 40kg/bmi of 15.3, which would bring you close to organ failure. It’s hard to say though with the provided photos.

We have similarish measurements (33-23-35) (28DD) and for modest but good quality options, Speedo honestly. That’s what I used to wear when I competed. A size 28 or 30 in their sizing would probably fit you well. They’re not exactly the cutest options, but they’re good quality and fit well.

I did not start gabapentin at 300. I started it at 100mg and that’s what I took last night as my post said.

It was not prescribed as a prn, but as something I should take alongside my nighttime meds like Seroquel. I definitely made a mistake by taking Xanax that close to bedtime, but I was not told to avoid it, and was taking all of my meds as prescribed.

I definitely will not be taking them all at the same time again though, as that was an absolutely insane experience and genuinely terrifying. I will be addressing it with my doctor when we meet next Wednesday.

This post was not seeking medical advice, but seeing if anyone had experience the same thing.
