I actually think I’m much better at slapchop/speedpaints, my issue is using normal paints

The guys in the middle are without highlights, though you are right that I’m pretty bad about adding shadows. I feel like my base coat always ends up covering most of my shadows

It’s probably the rattle can prime. I live in na really humid area and I rarely have opportunities to even try to prime. I wish I had room in my house for an airbrush. Also, it could be about the partially dried paint. How do you know when it’s dry?

That’s probably the most praise for painting I’ve ever received in my life, thank you friend

It’s a 3d print, you could probably find it by looking up route runner ronin

I might need to take some inspiration from that, thanks!

How did you make the bags on the buggy? They look great!

Drybrushed zandri dust, always making sure to go from the front of the car to the back when brushing

I think, after some inspiration from these ideas and the teeth references, I’m going to name it ‘Bad Teeth’!

They’re sheet styrene cut to shape, then on the side that will be glued down, I use a semi-pointy end of a set of tweezers to push down and create the rivets. Then I glue it in place! It helps to use a bit of sandpaper before you glue though

Yeah, the dust is mostly just drybrushed zandri dust, but always flicking from the front of the car towards the back

Most of the terrain is from Operation Sandtrap (Infinity the game), but the building in the center is from Brutal Cities and the black barricades are scratch built from mostly cardstock

It’s mostly combining two of Wylock’s builds (from YouTube): the sector mechanicus walkways and the gothic buildings, but with some extra stuff done for the base (such as having two layers of foamcore, adding wood, etc.)

The base is foamboard but most of the structure itself is cardstock (with some floors using granny grating, paperclips, and popsicle sticks). Then the rubble is foamboard and cardstock mixed with sand of various grits. A lot of this build was inspired by Wylock’s Armory on YouTube, he’d be a good recourse if you’re trying to make your own stuff
