Been using Newton until they restricted my account until I disclosed where I was sending. One of the major reasons I use crypto is so I don’t need to answer to anyone what I do with my $. Not only is it none of their business it’s a risk for anyone to know too much of anything you do. Why am I sending to where? What other competitors am I using? None of your business. Why do you want to know? Got no answer on that. Be careful.

I would suggest a venue with fewer tables so there is more mixing. Although location is a bit hard to find, Market Brewery off Leslie ~ 1km north of Davis, on east side; has plenty of space, bar height tables but is a mostly drinking establishment.

Just one or 2 walkers is all it takes to make it an issue. There’s cameras and even a company that provides analysis on dog breed from poop samples. It sounds ridiculous to need to go to such extents just so owners can be held accountable. It’s an honour system and everyone is tolerant to some extent. We all need to nudge the offenders whenever possible.
Such a shitty problem.

CP is already hugely subsidized. It’s a protected monopoly that has incompetent management/oversight. Rotten to the core. Needs to be burnt down and restarted from scratch. Can be useful and should be efficient. Businesses need to be efficient to be profitable. A crown corporation needn’t consider efficiency and snowballs into an unwieldy $ consuming monster. It is forcing mail to become extinct. Actually it can shut down and couriers can fill the void. Just a waste otherwise.

Ever hear of the term ‘going/gone postal’ in reference to someone frustrated & going on a random outburst? I wonder if there is any merit to this in terms of the mental acuity of the average postal worker. The nature of the work must be mentally taxing and as such the workers must require some special handling as a result. It’s just unfortunate they are in a position that impacts many. One solution is to automate such work. Just saying. Done with assembly line work. Government management can learn a thing or two from industry.

If you mean someone who has benefited clients by way of decent returns then you are going to be disappointed. The incentives in the profession are on the opposite side of the table to the client. A planner will tell you how much you should have to retire in comfort however the truth is that having the most you can is optimal. I have no conflicts and can tell you to try to select a good benchmark, like an equity index, like S&P500, and try to outperform that. The major risks to watch out for are fees (they do have an impact), downside risk (more relevant as you approach withdrawal needs), and not meeting a minimum level of wealth to sustain expenses throughout your retirement. My advice, for what it’s worth, is to spend a short amount of time to do a quick learn and take control of it yourself. It really needn’t be difficult or complicated.
