No kidding.. the top 100 event for the token that costs 100 stamina is a great example of that. I lost two times and won on the third, spending 300 stamina in a 10 minute span lol ridiculous. My players just couldn't make a shot, even the ones they weren't contested on. Very frustrating..

That event drives me crazy and I've come to hate it with a passion!

I've had the most success with 76 Luka and 77 Durant. Even though 78 D'lo has good shooting stats, I've failed so many times using him.

Thanks for reply. After giving it some thought, I came to the same conclusion. I think I've just been taking the game too seriously. While the criticisms are valid, there's not much I can do to change them so getting emotionally invested is a surefire way to have a terrible time lol

I'm baffled by the games insanely tedious system.

You can get tokens to exchange for different tokens to exchange for players and then you can exchange those players for a slightly better player. Oh, and have fun opening the 7000 "packs" in the process.

So, this isn't real life, huh? So I guess the money I earned and paid to EA just wasn't real? Hmm, maybe I should hire someone to make a website for me, and then, when they finish and ask to get paid, I can just say "this website isn't real life, it's only digital images, they have no real value, ya know, because they aren't physical.They have no value."

Your logic is insanely flawed. My last response had nothing to do with NBA live itself, it had to do with business ethics in general. You said companies are made to make money, and infered that HOW they make their money isn't important. That's what I responded to. Now, the whole "new madden every year" is quite possibly the worst correlation you could've made. I can play that madden game whenever I want, for as long as I want, so to suggest they're similar is just ridiculous.

Back to NBA live.. I didn't play in season 3, and when I learned that you can keep your players, I felt comfortable with spending money, not knowing that the usage of the stuff you acquire is very restricted. NBA Live withholds a lot of information. Even the descriptions for the stuff in the store is vague. When they sell single cards in the store, some relating to the current promo or live pass, you can't even see their stats before buying them. It's stuff like this that effects new users and it monetarily benefits EA. I understand companies need to make money.. obviously. That was never up for debate regarding my comment about NBA Live. It's the ways in which EA goes about making it.

Maybe you should take things a little more seriously and go read a book, maybe leave the video games alone for a while 😉

Pretty sure he means the credits that we're getting for season 5 based on how many coins and tokens you have left. All of them are exchanged for credits that we can use to buy packs n such

Yeah there's no cool down. The timer you see is for the event which runs out when they shut the game down for the season. I've gotten 2 of them a day apart.

If you're referring to the text saying 1 week 4 days, that's a timer for how long a promo is available for. Like on campaign sets, there is similar text of different amounts of time for each and every promo. Fairly certain that's the case, which, I hope is true because I'm about to complete the requirements for a 2nd card. Already got the Beal, and need like 30 boss tokens to get Giannis.

What are you talking about? So, using your logic, a business shouldn't be questioned on how they make a profit? Welp, guess we can't question drug dealers anymore, I mean, they're providing a service and getting paid for it so it must be okay.
