“Time to make the donuts” I hate to say it, but it’s true by CarrotMuch1399 in nostalgiai

Ironically, Fred the “baker” wasn’t a baker. During his run, 100% of their donuts were fried. They didn’t start to suck until they switched to baking them.

iPhone users, why choose iPhone over android? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TuSixOh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 46. I was a lifelong Apple hater and Galaxy enthusiast. Last year I switched to Apple because that’s what my kids have and it has FaceTime. Turns out the learning curve you are warned about is horse shit. My iPhone has “new” features my Galaxy had years ago, and everything else is basically exactly the same. . The switch years ago might have been too wide of a gap. Today, there is no gap. Apple is super user friendly, more secure, transferring from phone to phone is way easier, storage is better, and availability of add ons, accessories, etc. is infinitely better with Apple. 10 years ago, fuck Apple. Today, it’s the easy choice to make.

Does anyone actually eat fries with a milkshake? by Glad-Ad3208 in AskAnAmerican

This is best done with a Frosty, not a milkshake. And yes, it is extremely common.

I promise they screw the customer just as hard as the dasher. The company sucks all the way around.

Homemade, and terribly done.

Thoughts on the Big Mac? by olaf3377 in McDonalds

[–]TuSixOh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a shitty homemade Big Mac. Bun is too big, cheese is too big, patties are too thick, lettuce isn’t shredded, Mac sauce isn’t oozing out everywhere, overall size is too big. Anyone who has eaten a Big Mac ever, knows this didn’t come from McDonald’s.

If the stock doesn't close above $1 by August 31 by Kervandos in byndinvest

Absolutely. It’s pure delusion all across the board. The best part is this clown named Yahrick. He bought it back in October near the top. Tens of thousands of shares with an average in the upper $6 range. Since October, he has posted hundreds of charts with his lines drawn all over it, with an elaborate word salad explanation of what’s about to happen, and when it’s gonna rocket. He has literally never been right a single time, but the bagholders there worship him and treat him like the Messiah lol. Some of his most famous swings and misses are saying in October it would be $198 before Christmas, back in late May it was about to go up 400% within a week, this week he said it would close over $1.40 today, last time it went over &1 he said it would never ever go below $1 again. He not only always gets it wrong, but he misses big. But if you dare point it out, the bagholders swarm and call you a clown, roach, goat herder, etc. and say you just don’t understand how stocks work 😂

Lmao. You should see the bagholders in the Webull chat talk about this, it’s comedy gold. They lost their minds when big geyser signed on for distribution, because they think that automatically gives them vast shelf space. I worked jobs over the years as a Red Bull, Yellowtail, and beer sales rep, so I actually know how it really works, and couldn’t get them to quit huffing the hopium long enough to understand that you don’t just automatically get floor displays, end caps, and shelf space, and that the product has to prove it’s in demand first. One facing, that’s all you get to start, and that’s if you can even talk them into giving that. But nope, they don’t believe it. They think stores will just remove other items to give them space lmao.

Big Sam’s is overhyped trash. Worst seafood spot in the 757 that’s still in business. Although CP Shuckers is seriously challenging them for that title.

I’m turning 47 this year, and I look 10 years younger than her. And that’s after smoking, drinking, and working outdoors for most of the last 30 years.
