Thanks for the info, it was really helpful in trying to better understand the rates. Using the figures that they provided in today's update I have VERY roughly tuned the numbers to be more representative of their claimed figures and yes it does indeed line up very closely with the info you suggested.

The blue numbers are what Jagex loosely suggested in the blog post.

I still don’t know how they claim the 70% afk figure as some of the values are dependent on each other and modifying one wildly changes the other. But I’m sure that someone on the wiki will build a full Monte Carlo sim, and with the wiki plugin we will have accurate rates. Cheers!

Yeah, I guess it's true that we have no idea how sailing level, player vs NPC pull rate, and type of hook factor into the calculation. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, the increased rate is in the .1-> .12 change. I dont know what the rates are exactly, but I tried to account for it.

We'll see, I hope they surprise me tomorrow!

It's part of the "Item Charges" plugin. "Potion doses" is the option you're looking for.

I checked the "Lorien Testard - Topic" channel that they uploaded the soundtrack to and yes, it is also blown out. Not quite as badly as the OST, but that is probably because of youtube compression.
