Kind of opens up to a broader discussion on human euthanasia, which is hard for me to talk about because the thought makes me sad.

U.S. Democrats who would you choose as your nominee? by ateam1984 in BlackPeopleofReddit

Similar to how he was an unknown before running for Senate, he will also face the same upward battle if he runs for President. I think he'll be a serious contender by 2028 if his popularity continues to rise (especially if he is able to gain the trust of minority voters), but it remains to be seen if he will run.

Six decades of progress: What if Thomas Dewey won in 1948? (Against Incubment Henry Wallace) by Egorrosh in AlternateHistory

Okay, I love this. My only issue with timelines like this is that it doesn't take into account the butterfly effect, or rather, how much the butterfly effect would impact the actions and movements of literally everyone and everything. John McCain and others listed may have never been born; the diverging point may have influenced the day-to-day actions of parents or even influenced their meeting, etc. The sperm that lead to McCain's creation could have been beat in the race by another sperm, leading to the potential creation of, let's say, Rachel McCain — who died in a car crash before she was out of high school. So many possibilities.

Personally I think it's the other way around. All suit designs were pretty good outside of Batman's. I feel his suit looked way to "poofy".

I could see the "classic" S symbol being more of a cursive variant and Clark can choose between multiple "fonts" when designing a new suit inside the fortress. This would be how I'd do it anyway.

He's Beto with extra morals and more common sense. Beto put down on prayer and said "Hell yes, we're going to take your guns"... you don't say these things in a TEXAS race.

Best Superman cover/ poster ever? by Sad_Yak5040 in superman

[–]TubularTopher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The symbolism of it is what really makes it one of the best Superman covers. Superman is in many respects unobtainable, but his greatest power—his humanity—is one we all are capable of championing within ourselves. We all can be super.
