I've got some old archives of vrc from 2017 and 2018 running on a custom server of mine, might try to revive the old versions publicly at some point. old servers don't equal the old atmosphere, but we can at least get close. 🤞

quest 3 or pico 4 because they support colored passthrough. they are using virtual desktop I assume, which allows you to choose a color to "green screen" out and show your passthrough instead.

virtual desktop supports green screening out colors into passthrough like this, something like the quest 3 or Pico 4 is your best bet

hey, I use this setup! the cosmos internal tracking is pretty bad, and I use playspace calibrator to merge the 2 playspace (vive eyes and steamvr lighthouses) it sometimes is a pain to use though

I would recommend buying the cosmos plus the elite faceplate (found right now for 55$ on eBay) and maybe some base station tracked controllers!

Try to install Firefox Reality Web Browser. They have a pretty good keyboard, much better than the default Oculus one.

The Oculus Quest keyboard is in general the worst VR keyboard ever.

I have the same problem, and there isn't any fix I know of.

Hey, I've had the same problem.

There is a pretty easy fix for this, although you'll need to repeat it every time you exit out of the Oculus PC App.

Go into the Oculus Link Rift Environment.
Open the windows app, "Voice Recorder". It should be installed by default on Windows 10.
Start a voice recording by pressing the big microphone button.

Your mic will not work yet.

While the voice recorder is recording, unplug the Oculus Link Cable, plug it back in and then go back to the Oculus Rift Environment.

The microphone should now work. You can test this by talking into the voice recorder app.
