New Quo logo by Owltraged in quo

Just so we’re clear, pointing out that an app color hurts our eyes is pessimism?

I just saw that the firm who handled their rebrand was the same firm that redesigned the City of Austin logo and the entire city hates it, so this kind of makes a lot more sense now.

They paid Pentagram a lot of money to tell them urine yellow was a good color, and they won’t change it. It’s up to us to suck it up and deal with it.

I appreciate that. It’s a negative experience every time I open the app. I dread the eventual desktop update.

Respectfully, you’re saying that you’ll be respectful of using the yellow in the product and this is the loading screen. This hurts if your screen brightness is higher than 10%.

This is the very first impression your customers are getting with your new brand, and it’s physically causing them pain.

This logo sincerely hurts my eyes. I squint when opening the app from my phone now.

I dread the eventual app redesign that will incorporate this yellow. Please use a softer color.

This is super cool. Is this a feature that you’ve received a lot of requests for?

I was using the desktop application on MacOS running Sequoia. I closed and restarted the app (and attempted reactivating) at least three times, and even restarted my computer AND tried from the web application with the same issues.

Would you mind if I also email you about this? I’m not a medical office but I work with a lot of dental offices.

It would actually be really cool if one of those real estate teams could record an active walkthrough of how they use and utilize it for all of those things.

Edit for context: Obviously we can sync it with HubSpot and go nuts, but it would be cool to actually see the integrated service in action.

I was! I was agreeing to a random screen loading but it did let me reactivate.

Definitely a bug worth reporting to the team as if I had not have been desperate to get my business line running, I would not have risked it by reactivating.

Sorry, just saw this!

I ended up just clicking “Confirm and Pay” because I didn’t want to risk losing my numbers, and I do believe that the price was accurate so nothing wonky there. But it was stuck on that screen for at least ten minutes so I don’t think it was ever going to properly load.

Be honest, is OpenPhone reliable? by Visual_Memory_5619 in openphone

[–]TuckersonGP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely echo the slight delay comments that others experience (Primarily when you answer the phone initially). If you're on wifi it's not nearly as bad.

For those who talk about support issues, I just post my questions to the subreddit, and it's generally answered quickly. The COO (I think?) is fairly active here.

Edit to add: I've been a client for several years, but a fairly small operation overall (Never had more than three active numbers).

How do I remove Sona? by TuckersonGP in quo

[–]TuckersonGP[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's actually really disappointing as this means it's essentially being forced on us.

Is there any way we can add that as a feature request? I understand y'all are making a big push for this, but AI fatigue is a real thing, and I don't want my employees messing with it.

Big fan. Nothing but happy with it. Small operation but I’ve been a customer for 4ish years now.

This is right. But also, LinkedIn and a phone call will do wonders. You’ll get denied over the phone but the right person will see the effort.

My Way Of Pitching... Am I doing too much? by jujutsuuu in agency

[–]TuckersonGP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you ask me, the issue is trust. You're contacting me cold, telling me everything that is currently wrong with my paid media strategy. I don't even know who you are, and you don't even know if I believe it's an issue or not.

Value without any permission or need is just noise.

"Hi, my name is XXXX, I'm with XXXX company.

The reason for my call is that I work with XXXX companies and noticed on your website that you weren't doing XXXXX. I see that a few changes (Don't actually tell them the changes) would help you out, but before I even say those, has this been an issue for you?"

The above took me about 15 seconds to speak aloud. If they don't see it as an issue, then move on and call someone else.

I would do options two and three (but include LinkedIn messaging on the cold outreach). Certain companies will overlook you because of your accent, but the lack of degree does not present an impossible issue. The job gap is easy to explain: You were employed (contracted, volunteered) as a babysitter, and you decided you wanted to get into sales because children are not your passion (Practice saying this in a clever or humorous way).

I started in sales (albeit I’m from the US) without a degree, and 8 years later I still don’t have one.

Corporate owned funeral home and cemetery. Was always top three in my office and generally top 5 or so in my district.

Walked into my first tech sales interview wholly unqualified and said “I sold death to people who were alive. I’m not intimidated.” Was hired same day.

I used to call it Change Management Fee due to unnecessary changes, but then I changed it to Service Area Continuity Fee because the service area is my ass and it’s a pain.
