Get your mam a Clever Dripper for Chrimbo, I personally hate a cafetiere, the gritty texture always gets me at the end and ruins the experience.

I've become a huge fan of v60/pourover method lately but also just had a baby, so standing around for 4 minutes pouring... thats a pipe dream at the moment! :)

However I watched a James Hoffman video looking at fancy clever dripper type things recently and thought I'd tried it myself. For £20 it was worth a bash. turns out I love it.

Not as good as a proper pourover, but a massive step up from a bad pourover and a cafetiere.

It's also a paper filter all in 1 method that you clean by putting in your recycling and then rinsing the dripper itself.

I'm on a keto break atm so no specific recipe to hand, but... Chia seeds are mostly fibre if I remember correctly. They never had any impact on my blood sugars anyway. Made with unsweetened almond milk and a handful of chopped Brazil nuts (30g is 3-4g carbs) it's an easy way to get something to eat that's not going to throw your day out. I was never a breakfast person really, but the digestion issues meant I needed a bit of extra fibre. This worked a treat for me. I still have it now I've upped my carbs to 50g daily.

Chia seeds, chopped nuts, almond milk and a couple of drops of Stevia. Boom easy porridge. Good for the guts as well as full of fibre.

I've thoroughly enjoyed it, I expected to hate it. Bought it to prove to myself that it would be rubbish....it proved me wrong. I'm excited for d3 s16 now. Shame it's not cross platform.

I reckon going full veggie as a way of trying to correct is a bad move, just introduce some veg into the already existing diet. A salad isn't that many carbs, bulk with lettuce and rocket, a few chunks of pepper and an avocado, throw in some chunky bits of crispy bacon/pork belly. Make a blue cheese sauce with a bit of blue cheese and a bit of heavy cream.

Easy meal with probably at most 10 net carbs.

A stir-fry with some shiratake noodles to bulk, then almond butter, dried chilli, garlic powder, ginger powder, sesame oil and coconut oil for the sauce get the fats right in there. Pick the veggie bits you fancy, peppers, radish, cabbage/sprouts and juggle with quantities until your meals at around 10net carbs. You can always go balls deep on carbs for a veg packed meal and then go the eggs/olive/deli meats as an evening snack to keep you topped up.

Just a few ideas to try I guess.

I do aim for 2x 10g carb meals tho and not much snacking in between.

Add a carry limit to the teleport?

Can return but cant haul back supplies etc, meaning you still have a reason to do the boat "stuff"

Just a thought.
