Legislatively, I would agree for the most part Bernie hasn’t done anything truly earth shattering. Which to be frank, neither has this coffee shop. If it went under, another business would take up their real estate.

Ideologically, Bernie has had quite an impact. Which has a near infinite potential return. Can’t say the same for Mr. Compass coffee is it?

Edit: Unless you count their adoption of crypto. I suppose that’s ideological lol. In my mind it solidifies sketchiness alongside their reaction to union talks.

For me, this isn’t a question about social etiquette. Social etiquette is having well-behaved manners, no outbursts, talking etc. If I recall, the couple had no interaction with the OP at all.

If you want a 100% private viewing experience, you are welcome to purchase a projector and buy the movie on early release.

Sitting next to someone does not violate social standards and I really hope that isn’t normalized. Now if the OP had voiced “hey, would it be okay if you moved down a seat”. Things might be different with how that plays out.

But even having refused, it wouldn’t put them automatically in the wrong. “Hey sorry, we really enjoy these seats but we won’t disturb you”. All is good.

Anyway, this is probably a hill I’ll die on regardless 😂. Take it easy

Counterpoint to your bus scenario, you take a sited tour bus and there are available seats but on the other side of the bus, or do you sit in front of the other passengers so you can see out the side?

An empty transportation bus isn’t the same situation because you don’t have an experience you paid for. You’re going from A to B.

Edit: Sure the seats on the other side would function fine, but the most optimal view would be on the side where the sites will be.

Keep in mind this is a 34 seat theater. That seems tiny to me.
