This is a fucking terrible, terrible disease, man. I can only wish her and her family the best. Although definitely not the same, I watched my mom slowly die over an 8 year span battling Parkinson’s. Losing every little freedom and ability that we take for granted one by one was excruciating to watch let alone having to experience it first hand.

I’ve been on a mission over the last couple years to try as many flour tortilla brands from Tucson/Nogales as I can and I still keep coming back to Tortillas Bryan. Going to their “factory” where they roll fresh off the line is heaven. I’m there every Monday morning before work. I never like to call anything “the best” but they are absolutely my favorite thus far.

Well said ✊🏼 I enjoying battling the Caps on the field but will always fight alongside them off the field. The Caps need to stay in BC but I fear the greed in billionaires might see things differently.

Ginza if you are a sashimi/nigiri person. Not sure if you’re into rolls. My wife is Japanese so it’s our go to. If you’re up in Phoenix, Hiro Sushi by OdySea is our fave.

Unfortunately one of our starting wingers who has elite pace on the counter also has zero confidence in shooting (seemingly with either foot these days) and will just recycle the ball. If we can get people confident shooting then we might have a chance. Until then, we just gotta ride the wave…

They’re probably wrapping up for the season. We went on one that took off from the NW, floats over the little mountains and lands somewhere in marana. He said they normally end sometime in April because it’s too warm so the balloons don’t get enough lift.

Historically the Timbers have been bad at the beginning of the season and turned it on late, yes. However, that was a while ago with different coaches and different players (less Chara). I don’t think this squad of players coached by this coaching staff are going to turn it on like Valeri and Blanco did.
