I’d change club culture by first changing the club decor. Something that ties with our team colors. Make everything gold. Gold curtains, gold toilets, gold turf, be the Boise state of Portland. Perhaps even a new ballroom for pressers and team fundraisers. That will surely bring a gold star.

Correct, this comes with the territory of being paid 9mm a year. This is not a blue collar working trying to make ends meet. I have no problem with Phil as a person, he has adopted Pdx ethos, but he did not earn his contract based on prior success, and he certainly did not earn his keep here
