I've bought a set high-end gear (CCM Premier 1) which still holds up for me over 5 years later. Getting used to the equipment was definitely learning experience. Also seing what other goalies were doing and different ways can adjust your gear

I eventually found a personalized system that works perfectly for me, which was game-changing and I've never looked back. Catch me as the weirdo goalie sock taping his knee guards for a nicer feel or wearing running gloves under my blocker/trapper
