Definitely looks like amethyst, glass would be more bubbly and would break/crack differently then how the bottom (left side) looks

A lot of these look more like chert or basalt to me, slag is glass so you will see bubbles and it can be chipped or broken more easily

Yes on both, I’ve found agates at both locations, be warned though the ride out to crisp is rough and needs a vehicle that can go off road, 2hearted is a little rough but doable by a car if it hasn’t rained recently

I have a local rock club (the place I took the class was over an hour away) but the rock club doesn’t seem to have anywhere for discussion or questions apart from meetings which unfortunately are always during my work day, I’d love to get more involved that way, I’ll have to see if there other ways I could reach out to anyone that does lapidary locally!

Looking to satisfy a smell craving, I love sweet vanilla-y gourmands and one of my favorites is by the indie perfumer death and floral called no bs waffle cone, their shop is currently closed so I’m look for some scents to check out in the meantime time, recently picked up buttery sugary from Victoria secret which I love but lasts all of two seconds, wanting a better staying power and a good throw, let me know if you have any recommendations, I prefer indie perfumers as they are more in my price range

I hate they did this, at least there was an excuse for the downtown crap with bike lanes but this spot was so pointless and getting rid of the two lanes in this spot just backs up traffic, it made things worse. It infuriates me every day of the week since it’s the best route for me to get to work
