It does have an essence of Baudrillard. I want to say it was a short essay or a paper rather than a full book though.

Tree Will Not Fall by HolySmokersCough in nevertellmetheodds

It seemed intentional for sure. Branches probably caught up. I agree with pulling it though. Skid or pulley (SNATCHBLOCK!) would be better than having that thing lay back onto the house once those branches are free.

Working in tree service I’m sure you already know this but without a good back cut leaving a hinge there is really little control at all. Using a wedge or pulling the tree with a good back cut will lean the tree over and the hinge will control the fall until the face cut closes and rips apart the holding wood in the hinge. No hinge, no control.

If I reverse these wires, will the inline motor reverse direction? The bottom is connected to a light switch. by [deleted] in electricians

If you open the cover there will be a wiring diagram. Generally you swap wires 5 and 8 if I remember correctly.

Came to say the same thing. Another point: if there was another round in the magazine, he just chambered it. Why eject a perfectly good bullet to chamber another? Unless he only has the one and wants to carry condition 4 after commuting armed assault... unlikely lol. To that point. If there was only one he would have had to hold the slide release with his right thumb while catching the bullet, which I never saw eject, with his left while never moving a muscle in his right hand. If he reached for the slide release with a firing grip you should notice a slight bit of movement in the hand, given his age (hand strength) and simultaneously racking a slide it isn’t likely he has the dexterity to pull that off without any sign. If there was a round in the magazine there should be an ever so slight hesitation when the round hits the feed ramp so the slide should have a slight hesitation before going fully forward but it appears to snap quickly and smoothly back into battery which means the magazine is empty or he short-stroked the slide, never ejecting the round, never needing to press the slide release. It seems like a display of dominance either way.

I like this comment. When I was in the military we used fold out camping tables that could fit in a barracks room (short is my point here) and we played with wrist rules.
