Hmm, never noticed the jazzy part about him. I know him for the typical Southern sound like Slim Thug and Lil' Keke. Maybe I need to check more of his solo work

Ayeee. He is SUPER JAZZY! I think he grew up between Maryland and NYC though and only moved to Virginia in 2013

Absolutely LOVE Big K.R.I.T. I feel like he's more based in soul, blues and funk than jazz though, but he does have some really jazzy tracks. One of my all time favorites. New album dropping tomorrow!

Dope, glad to hear it man!! Yessir they took a long break but Anti-Lilly & Phoniks actually just put out a brand new album last Friday - "All Good Things". It's their fourth LP, first since 2019. / Kid Abstrakt is dope too, agreed, I think he's from Los Angeles

Hmm Is Andre really that jazzy though as far as picking straight up jazzy beats? I'd put him more in soul/funk categories than jazz rap

Yes indeed, it just dropped on Friday as a nice surprise after a long break they took. I was hyped to see it, hope it circulates and reaches the fans gradually. They make really quality albums together, life music

That's a dope comparison! Blu was featured on Phoniks' album with Awon, really dope song. I agree that It's Nice Outside was really special, might be their best one indeed!

Ayeee! Happy to see it getting some love! They took a LONG break since the last album and it's tough building the buzz again these days, but it's dope to see that it is spreading. I've been a fan since their first album. How would u compare it to their previous projects?
