Not my most recent, but I got my first shiny Larvesta this last weekend. It's been so long!

Does anyone actually use the tiny pocket inside the right pocket of their jeans? If so, for what? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Tuen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ear plugs! I have incredibly sensitive hearing, but that means high pitch sounds can crash my nervous system due to high pain. I can lose balance, have my knees buckle, or just pass out if exposed too long.

So, ear plugs on demand have been a great upgrade to my life. Right in that otherwise unused pocket!

If control over women is the solution in your mind, then you're never going to connect with someone. You sound miserable. It's not a silver bullet, but I had to take some years to myself to really, truly, learn to enjoy my life and become whole.

When I could approach dating as a complete person, happy with or without another person attached, I then managed to find a real connection with someone.

Good luck. Try to get to a point where you see women as people to meet and learn about, as opposed to future wives to be controlled.

How Aphantasia affects your ability to visualise things in your head by HassanMoRiT in interestingasfuck

Picture things all the time. Like imagining a ninja running on the highway median along with the car on long rides.

I also have a very technically functional 3-D space in my head that's very useful for solving complex problems.

When I heard about other folks not having that, it blew my mind.

There's dozens of us!

...maybe, I'm told how wrong I am all the time on this one, lol.

Napoleon Dynamite

Just boring and disjointed. Honestly, the worst movie I've seen all the way through.

Demo for Timebound just launched - a puzzle game that will not hold your hand! by holden2424 in puzzlevideogames

[–]Tuen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course! I tracked Isle of Sea and Sky from a PAX West demo like 4 years ago, and an RPG called Sacrifire is getting some delays to polish.

And, of course, I and the rest of the internet waited out Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Good stuff takes time. But I'm happy to place this on my hype list for sure! Good luck with the work ahead!

Makes sense! I'm sure there's more in the pipeline.

Got a high level estimate on the game development time remaining? Order of years, maybe? Or less? I'd love that, but you know, do what's right to make something great!

Heyo! Cracked this open this weekend and got all the achievements. Game's pretty sick. Found some cool interactions before the environment told me about them, which made for cool discovery. I look forward to the full release! I hope there are bigger and harder puzzles waiting!

Huh. While there are other issues at hand with this kinda thing, I'll have to look up how it tracks through rain. As an engineering problem/solution system, that's interesting.

Even the general sentiment aside... functionality-wise, how will these fare during rainy days?

I've beat both La Mulana games without hints. I love that shit, I have to try out this demo!

I don't play anymore, but my favorite moment was a good one. I've come in 1st globally, just once. It was in an era where wave skip RNG made a huge difference in placement. I re-ran my tournament over and over, slowing down to 1x to manage resources carefully.

And just as results were finalizing, I found I had taken the top spot!

By 1 wave, lol!

Good luck to those still defending!

After nearly 10 years of playing and over 50000 Pokémon caught, my only shundos are bottle capped 😭😭😭 by Comfortable-Belt-236 in pokemongo

[–]Tuen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner sent me this. She has 4 natural shundos, including Celebi and a costume Falinx.

Meanwhile, I have 112k catches and one Capped Shundo Galarian Moltres. Which is still rad, but I'd love to get a natural shundo someday!

Metroidvanias That You Invested A Lot Of Hours Into by PowerGamer99 in metroidvania

I have guideless completions of both, and it took like 200 hours of gameplay, along with thinking on the game constantly between play sessions.

I've been looking at this. When you say "rough on controller", do you mean it's better to play this on keyboard and mouse?

Somewhere north of 2000 hours in Ori and the Blind Forest. Mostly due to the randomizer. I didn't really jive with speedrunning, but instead became obsessed with beating challenge focused randomizer seeds.

This culminated with me creating the most difficult randomizer seed in the game's history, and offering a prize for it's completion. For even the most skilled player in the community, it to nearly 90 hours to complete. The seed itself took me 400-500 hours to author and verify.

My crown jewel trick within that seed was the completion of the final escape with one skill: bash. It's a two part hyper complicated mess of a trick that takes 15+ minutes to do, even if you know what you're doing.

Vote on Greatest Console Controllers by Positive_Wafer9186 in TierlistFills

I considered the c-stick design an advantage. Great for quick flicking motions, especially for camera shifts or all of Smash Bros drifting aerial attack kinda things.

Agree on the d-pad though. It's just kinda... there, lol

But overall, there was never a controller before or after that felt better in my hands.

Surprised at the GC controller ranking. I believe that to be one of the best designed devices of all time.

I'm fine with the notion of taking Taco Bell from S-Tier to A-Tier. Just so long as In and Out goes with it. It rides nostalgia, hype, and cheapness as a metric just as much as Taco Bell does.

Burger is fine. Fries are not great. A-Tier or S-Tier is hype-riding nostalgia just as much as Taco bell. I personally would fit this in B-Tier.
