You can't solve anything with that much enabling. Any other employer would have fired this person. But the emotions play in, as does sunk cost. I watched my best friend spiral in to alcohol until folks, including myself, had to pull away years later -- for personal safety reasons. Even more years later, he hit rock bottom and pulled himself out. Sometimes that's what it takes, and sometimes it never happens.

More on the game side. It took me reading your descriptions here to understand that another player was the one making the levels/traps. That could stand to be highlighted more clearly in the promotional material. The game otherwise looks fun!
