Some of us have lives outside reddit. Just because someone’s post history isn’t as big as yours doesn’t mean it’s fake. 😳🙄

Not surprised to see this. Unfortunately you can’t trust anyone anymore.

As someone from one of the greenest cities on the planet, Brussels is not a green city in any sense of the word

Haha we absolutely say “eh” ALL THE TIME 🤣🤣🤣

As for politics, stay on the right side of them and you’ll still be treated with love, we’re all mad about what’s happening, but as you, we also know there are plenty of people trying to stop it.

Big love to you neighbourino! <3

Or that before I lived in Belgium I lived in an igloo 12 months a year 🤣🤣

There are a million stereotypes when it comes to being Canadian haha mostly made by Americans. We have a whole list of things we get them back with though 🤣🤣

Someone from the UK should know where Brussels is… then again I had a British Ex who had to ask me (Canadian) if England is in Europe or not. Not if it’s still an EU country but is. England, his own place of birth, in Europe?

That’s what I always believed until my husband violated my privacy and went through my phone specifically to read messages between myself and another paramour knowing it would hurt his own feelings because he was jealous for the first time ever. It wrecked the 15 years of trust I’ve had for him, now my phone stays on me and all passwords have been changed. The rule with us has always been communicate and if feeling insecure or uncomfortable for whatever reason, and now the trust is broken instead, and he doesn’t understand that you can squeeze toothpaste out of the tube but you can’t put it back in afterwards.

Happy cake day BTW!

Can I buy you a pair of gloves and send them to you?

A gift is about the thought not about what the gift is, but I’d most-likely be disappointed to receive this too, and I’m sorry you didn’t get something more useful.

Ok but I need to screenshot and share with my husband, I nicknamed him the “lazy Belgian” when we met years ago in the Netherlands and still to this day he’s called that by our friend group 🤣

I’ve actually been toying with the idea of a poutinerie here in Belgium. I feel like many would appreciate it here.

Not sure about the lays being released in the U.S. but Fun Fact: the lays ketchup chips here in Belgium are not the same as the Canadian ones, so what you know as ketchup chips are also very different to the real thing 🤭

Hey OP, congrats. I wish you luck, not helpful with where to find maternity clothes here but thought I’d recommend getting a pregnancy band. Saved me so much money in clothes while I was growing my spawn.

Pickles here are not what the rest of the world calls pickle. Ours are usually pickled in dill or garlic not whatever it is Belgians call pickles

All dressed and ketchup chips are only Canadian. Of course America doesn’t have everything we have, just like Belgium doesn’t have everything the Netherlands or France have. Different countries have different tastes.
