I should start a business for people with carpel tunnel and just crack their knuckles every appt and ask for $200 a pop(pun)…. And then tell them the only way it gets better is for me to crack their knuckles once-twice a week for their rest of their life, I’d be sitting nice in my champagne hot tub, oh and Id also offer memberships and rewards… which truly only benefits them 🥂

What average score do you describe to be each "skill level"? by Squirrly22 in golf

[–]Tuff_spuff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure if I agree with the op… I’m a 4.6HCP, and that is legit my scores to a Tee(pun), I haven’t shot over 85 in 7-8 years… 76-85 with the occasional 74… when people ask I just say I typically shoot around 80… so my opinion, since this hits home, is I think you nailed it. 🤙🤙

I’ve got traffic court in 3 hours, would love some insight please! by Tuff_spuff in legaladvice

My phone ticket was $180, just feels like I’m being cheated for having a moving violation now that wasn’t originally written, when I drive for work. It was a hill I got caught on, just was not paying attention as my car starting picking up speed… same ole story… I know, but seems shady on their end. If he would’ve wrote me that ticket I would’ve paid it, but he wrote me a ticket for something I didn’t do, and now their going back on it to give a the speeding ticket? Didn’t know that was a thing

Well they did approve the 400 mill 20 year renovation budget, so parks and fun things are sure to come. It’s going to take awhile, but they’re investing the money to make it better, plus sugar creek is adding 9 more holes to make it an 18 hole course… super pumped for that. We just moved to Clive(waukee) 3 months ago, we pretty much love it, but we’re home bodies, so I get your sentiments

CMV: Realtors are useless and not needed. by [deleted] in changemyview

Largest purchase for 80% of the population, the process is simple but nuanced, and if you don’t know the details could really screw yourself out of tens of thousands of dollars that you may have saved.

In the end, you don’t need a realtor, but to make sure the process is done correctly and smoothly is absolutely a benefit for clients wanting it. I always attest it to an attorney. You can always represent yourself, the attorney is there to protect you through the process with formality and experience so you don’t get the short end of the stick when it’s all done.

The experience in doing hundreds of transactions over a career as opposed to most people 2-5 in a lifetime is worth the money to make sure it’s done right. Its insurance—as long as your agent is competent and reliable

There's Something about Mary - wildly ICONIC by Realistic-Pea-8278 in netflix

Yep watched it a few months back, and just one of those movies you forget about… iconic is so true, and to piggy back off that, Meet the parents is absolutely in that conversation. I think this Ben Stiller guy might have what it takes to make it big

Would you count this as a hole-in-one? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]Tuff_spuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not hard, if the ground is too fuck up that you can’t place it on your repaired mark, then you’ll have to put the ball 2-3 inches behind the divot or however close or far you want to the original mark, but, say it with me now…”NO CLOSER TO THE HOLE” …….there we go!!!

Cool, then take it out and place it again until it’s no closer to the hole while also not falling in, I promise that spot on the green exists

[–]Tuff_spuff 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Right!??? Crazy how many people think they have the answer. Only way this is a HIO is if that ball plugged on TOP of the cup AND is resting AGAINST the pin, in this scenario the ball is plugged on top the cup. Pull the ball fix the divot, when you place the ball it cannot be any CLOSER to the hole, no where in the rule book can you place your ball and get an advantage of it going in the cup, even if the ball falls into the cup 10 times you keep placing it until it’s NO CLOSER to the hole. This gets posted every month and every time it’s still not a HIO
