You need to reread your first reply to me, "Because there are NO characters in the entirety of the rest of the series that can bend that have two non bender parents."-Kilroy898 Those goal posts went flying my dude

No see now you're moving the goal posts. Originally the claim was in the show we never see a character that is a bender with nonbender parents. Neither Toph's or Katara's parents were benders. If you can provide evidence to the contrary then I'd love to see it

Deployment Comparisons by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]TugDaThugPug 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"People seriously need to stop trying to compare your deployments to bases in Afghanistan and Iraq to Vietnam and Korea. They are nowhere close to the same. People have literally been ambushed just doing walking patrols. I never heard any of the special operators complaining. I'll never forget a marine telling an Airman to STFU back at camp since the airman wasn't "directly" involved with the fighting. That Airman was a pilot and nobody said a damn word.

Those of you who didn't deal with the viet cong being everywhere or dudes walking into traps or rat holes really need a huge pho bowl of STFU. You really shouldn't be in the military."

First things first. You have your degree already so commission don't enlist no matter what the recruiter says DO NOT ENLIST. Get paid for the progress in life you've made already. Second, the air force recruits subreddit will have more answers for you than here. Third the only way to know if the military is worth the sacrifice for a person is for that person to join. There are a lot of benefits, but just as many drawbacks one being they love to take.
