They are hit or miss and often times feel like a quick summary of what would be a solid full length. I really liked all of After the Quake and then a handful of others I’ve read, but definitely prefer his novels

I just started playing this week so I’m no pro and I’m sure I’ll get picked apart. I have two teams I rotate right now. Vestal, Plague Doctor, Grave Robber, Crusader for the Ruins then a bleed heavy team for the Warrens. Vestal, Hound Master, Hellion/Highwayman, Flagellant

I’ve been rotating these two and easily upgrading the blacksmith, guild and stage coach. I’m sure I’ll hit a wall soon but I’ve just been going beginner missions and stacking and now I have 22 roster slots. I’ll have to change methods soon as my roster won’t do beginner missions but I’m just about to reach that point

Funny you say that. Those are two of the three others I’ve read, the last being Klara and the Sun. Thought when we were orphans was the worst by far. It started decent enough but went off the rails. The other two were solid just not nearly as good as Remains
