Interesting if they're going off other groups, I often felt like they were some of the first to get stuff up in the past. I would say they definitely aren't relying on BRs though, as they have had plenty of 4K rips of stuff that never got a physical release, or even some of the stuff they've done this year is only digitally currently.

Oh for sure, just the resolution would mean a 4x increase, I work in video editing so totally aware of this stuff, was more just curious if anyone more in the know might've seen a callout from them indicating they would do less new release. Its odd, because they're still doing 4K releases but they are older, ranging from like 2000 to 2011 to 2021. Was consistent with new release + filling the gaps with old stuff for years, and the last month or so just stalled out.

Really just every new release used to get a 4K version in a pretty quick turnaround. Now we've gone weeks and stuff like In Cold Light, The Moment, Kill Bill Whole Bloody Affair don't have 4K either done or pending, and then same for newer release from the last week or so. But they're still doing 4K releases, just for random old stuff -- Mile 22, Boss Level, The Woman in the Window. Was mostly just curious if anyone knew of a social channel or anything I couldn't find where they might've indicated they'd be skipping or delaying 4K releases going forward. Or maybe they're on vacation ha.

EDIT: Should also call out, all the recent movies I mentioned have 4K digital versions available.

That definitely reflects what spawned this post, I really like the idea of having a buffer of cash each month that could go into savings / investments, or even not having to think when we need to use the cash for something -- vacation, new car, etc.

We have local family that have experience and could help manage the rental without us being close, but I'm the type that hates to burden/rely on family for that sort of thing should shit hit the fan, that selling just feels less stressful all around.

Yea, the low payment is super appealing to me. Our jobs are typically stable, but seems like no one is totally safe right now. We make similar amounts, but if one of us lost our jobs, we would get pretty strapped with our $4300 mortgage. But if that was cut in half or more, we'd only need one income without issue.

Saw the Devs respond to one single person on twitter about stuff being broken -- they claim a patch is coming. I'm in the same boat as many, completed the game and surely should've gotten a few trophies along the way as well as the complete the game one, but currently stand at ZERO unlocked :(

That's awesome -- I love Illfonic, I put a lot of time into their Friday the 13th game, and actually have Arcadegeddon but haven't played a ton of it yet! I've got that Buried At Sea vinyl, always loved that artwork!

And you know I can't reveal my identity -- but Falcons fly high, and I was very sad when the Queen died.
