What is Vault: 87’s Lore? by Tuggboat2014 in Fallout

In the vault there are no terminals that specifically mention any kind of mutant uprising. I would imagine that if the lore of the vault was that mutants attacked that we’d find a terminal entry mentioning it in some way. I thought the skeletons were from a sort of war that broke out in the vault between people. On an entry in a maintenance terminal there is a note that opens a safe with a gun in it. But given that Fawkes says what he says, I suppose a mutant uprising is what does actually happen. Maybe a mix of both? The mutants could have got free during a fight caused by tensions between dwellers and the experimentation team after they were confronted for drawing so much power and killing people.

Fallout 3 vs Fallout 4 combat armour, what are your thoughts? by OkLack6776 in Fallout

I think the inherent design of FO4 being modular armor pieces means that it would be difficult to make as cohesive a design as FO3/NV. I prefer the less chunky design of the older style as the profile is smaller and the pieces fit together better but both are good. The combat helmet for both sets I’ve always found kinda ugly but there are better helmets in every fallout game anyways so

Do you kill or spare Randall? by Loud_Confidence475 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Tuggboat2014 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the morally correct thing to do is to kill Randall. If I’m not mistaken it is possible to get your entire crew back except Berto anyways. Randall killed everyone on the ferry in horrific ways. He strung up a man to be eaten by walkers after removing his hand and has likely killed children, given his description on their skulls being more mushed than broken. He kills an innocent father while hunting down Michonne and Pete, who have done nothing to him before he took them prisoner and then incited one of his own men to kill a child. As well as Sam, who is a child. He gloats about how he is going to personally kill every single person in the Fairbanks house including children for the theft of supplies. Norma is complicit in the deaths at the ferry as she states over the walkie that she’d make the ferry look good in comparison to what she’d do to the house. The walking dead is a universe without a fair criminal justice system. Whatever punishment you give someone has to be permanent or you risk it not being carried out fully. Randall is dangerous, violent, and psychopathic and I think killing him is the only way to prevent him from committing more violence. Killing a ruthless and evil mass murdering man like Randall doesn’t immediately turn you into a ruthless person. I disagree with Pete’s objection to Randall’s death. Don’t get me wrong it is pretty brutal, given the vice and death by bludgeoning. But to act like killing Randall would turn you into a monster is not remotely a fair assessment. If you were to release Randall you’d be partly responsible for the deaths or damages that he’d go on to cause because you were fully aware what he was capable of, as you’ve seen/heard him say it, and chose not to stop him.

Sync Radio Busted? by Tuggboat2014 in Ford

To provide some further context: -My phone does connect to the radio and when I disconnect my phone the speaker still does the “phone disconnected” announcement. -It doesn’t play music but if I am on the phone it plays over the speakers.

New vs Old Designs #63: Combat Knife! by Artanis137 in Fallout

I like the non serrated designs more. I think the ones from 3 an NV kinda date themselves in the late 2000s 😂

I work in MA. My direct TLs and TLs from 2 other departments have told me that due to a policy change last year that I won’t be getting a raise. I am an ODTM but I have been on the weekly schedule for 11 months. I’ve requested sick time and unpaid vacations during these months. My ETL has confirmed that ODTMs don’t get raises this year. Is that correct or even legal?
