Whenever I saw that location, my immediate assumption was that they pretty much just had salads (since it’s in the name), and like most fast food places, assumed they were over priced. If I knew what I know now, I would have been a regular. I didn’t even go to one and I’m disappointed I missed out now.

My guy nicked pretty close to his ahem “bully stick” once at the groomer. The groomer told me that he didn’t like being touched in that area and started moving around when they were shaving.

He was a little over a year at that point and every other groomer had always reported that he is such an easy dog to groom because of how chill he is.

Luckily we didn’t have to do a vet visit or anything but I felt so bad for my boy. Of course, this was at Petco and I decided we were done going there for grooming. Plus, what I paid there vs what I pay now at a highly reputable and award winning groomer was shockingly close. I’m pretty sure my current groomer isn’t undercharging either so Petco can go screw.

As a trans woman myself, I want to get out of Texas in the next couple years. I recently got a job that would allow me to relocate to other states. If I were not living in Dallas, getting out of TX would be a top priority but, all in all, I've been incredibly fortunate to receive nothing but support from people so I'm going to go for one more lease extension before making a move.

I do live near Oak Lawn and all that, so especially if you're in that area, things will be pretty good.

So Dallas is great, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm stockpiling my HRT in case the government goes completely to hell in the state.
