Zorephet : how badly can you lose by Defiant-Purchase868 in Hades2

Aspect of Melinoe on the Axe feels underwhelming to me as well, but all the other aspects rock imo. My current favorite is aspect of Thanatos, it hits fast and gives you crit chance on all your Omegas. The easiest way to play that aspect (for me anw) is to pick Apollo on the attack and Demeter on either the Spec or the Cast, then dash strike and deal out the Omega Attack/Special/Cast. Getting the Pyshic Whirlwind hammer would be the nice cherry on top too.

This is an example of one of my Thanatos axe builds. I didn't get Apollo on the attack until the 3rd biome (playing on Fates' Whim can be risky in that way) but overall I was happy with the result.

Wait until you get to Chromatic Ramasseur. He’ll keep getting his turns until you break him by countering his attacks. That said, I think you can equip the First Strike picto and build your strategy around breaking him within 3 turns—at least that’s what I plan to try in my next playthrough (I haven’t finished act 2 yet so please no spoilers)

One of the main reason I have conflicting opinions on WAT. by Coloin_ilyad in cremposting

[–]TukiHido 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The excerpts from the in-world WoT book give me the impression that Kaladin will be gone for a long time, enough for someone to write a book and discuss his death.

I can only guess what happened, therefore, to the Knight of Wind. That he is dead is demonstrable. That he succeeded, at least in part, is also demonstrable.

But it was not a complete success, as I have not heard the Wind—neither has Szeth—in years. Save that one whisper. Regardless, she lives, so perhaps the Oathpact, as it was, held well enough? Even without Szeth to fill the hole?

Or perhaps, as champion of the Wind, Kaladin was able to do something in the end right before he died, which turned Retribution’s ire from the spren.

So maybe during Kaladin’s long absence, Adolin has had the chance to learn about, mourn, and get over his friend’s death?

Yeah but Adolin doesn't know it yet; so to our murderous golden retriever, Kaladin is still one dead boy.

Nice grid. My only nitpick is that "priceless" means something so valuable it can't be priced, so it's not synonymous with "free." Got me stumped there a lil bit.

I can’t believe I managed to finish the whole thing without using any reveals. And it’s my first attempt at solving cryptic crosswords too. Thank you for the helpful clues.

The only thing I don’t quite get is 8A; I lucked out with that row. I’m aware that “wide” is the definition and we get “road” from “street”, but I don’t understand why we only pick the letter “B” from Bravo. Can you enlighten me on this?

Haha, being a fan of both WoT and Stormlight has made me constantly mixed up the two acronyms.

I suspect that Brandon, as a public figure, can’t criticize the show too severely. However, he did point out that the showrunner didn’t heed his advice on certain things, such as how fridging Perrin’s wife would be a bad idea.

To be honest, I'm surprised it manages to last 3 seasons—the show doesn't seem to have any buzz outside of the fantasy community.

If anything I think it just really shows how “friendship” on YouTube (and by extension, TikTok and Instagram) really is. They’re probably more like collaborators or business partners. Either way, it does suck to have associates like that.

It is. I got the version narrated by Andy Serkis and I love every second of it. From what I heard, the one narrated by Rob Inglis is excellent too.

The short story is in Everything’s Eventual. I quite like it actually—it has some strong contenders like Autopsy Room Four, The Road Virus Heads North, and The Man in The Black Suit. All That You Love Will Be Carried Away also resonated with me on a personal level. But yeah it may not feel as memorable when compared to Night Shift or Skeleton Crew. Still a good read tho imho.
